150 Years of Racing in Saratoga: Little Known Stories & Facts From America's Most Historic Racing City (Sports)

Just finished this book. Not bad some interesting tidbits of history, but a lot is just a rehashing of long ago horse races, which I expected but this is not an in depth tell all behind the scenes look. I did learn a few new things about the history of Saratoga and if your a horse racing fan this is a quick & interesting read, but I would not call it a MUST READ if your just a generic sports fan. I live near Saratoga so the book caught my attention. Good Book, NOT GREAT.

After reading several books on Saratoga, I was expecting some new stories since these were advertised as little-known. The format was an easy read with many short and un-related stories. Unfortunately, there was little new information here. This is a good book if it is your first on the subject.

Having a hard time following this book. Difficult read with short stories based on chapter, jumps around. For one of the famous race tracks (and oldest) someone could do much better by having more pictures to follow the history of Saratoga. Pictures inside are a lot of old postcards, not crazy about this one

Renting the textbook was a good decision and I would recommend it to anyone. Books delivered on time and it was easy to return them as well.

This is a great history of Saratoga racing with lots of unknown or little known facts. It is a great read for anyone interested in racing at Saratoga.

Bought this product as a gift for Christmas but will have to wipe the book down first as it looks like whoever packed it was eating a glaze donut. Gross
