We were so excited to get this sink. The description makes it sound fab. We were so disappointed. It turns it is acrylic plastic. You can tell by looking at it but only in person. Additionally, only in the 'french' translation does it say acrylic. Not noted anywhere else. On top of that - they won't pay for return shipping and also charge a 20% restocking fee. Insanity!

Let me preface this with the fact that I'm not a fan of vessel sinks, at all. So, it took some convincing not to cut up my countertop to mount something different than the old tall bowl that Iabsolutely hate. That being said, this thing is an awesome little sink. It's small enough for my space and I configured it to make the most of limited counter space in my bathroom. This was a very simple install and I think it looks great (for a vessel sink, anyway). This has a very shallow bowl and I had to change the faucet from what I intended as there was a lot of splashing, and, having shallow sides, there's not much to keep all that contained. I ended up switching to a more traditional style faucet with aerator and it is working much better. I love that it's not super tall, about 4" high from countertop (vs the previous one at 6.5 ") and the matte finish looks amazing. Wipes clean easily and fits a standard popup drain very well. Sink arrived well packaged and came very quickly. I'm quite pleased with this purchase. The only downside, over time, will be maintaining the finish. It does come with a small piece of 400 grit sandpaper for surface maintenance to remove stubborn staining, but I believe that might be a bit too aggressive over a long period of time. Time will tell, of course, but initial impressions are that this is a great product that fit my needs perfectly, without spending hundreds more to cut a new counter. I would buy again.

Quality, packaging is top notch. The matte appearance of the sink is classy. Easy to clean and buff out perfections.

This sink was perfect for our guest bathroom. The vessel allows for more countertop space. It’s easy to clean, easy to install. It was suggested to us once our countertop went in to use denatured alcohol to clean up the silicon and not to over tighten the sink because it’s made of the same “soft” material as the countertop. Glad we took the suggestion cuz install went without any hiccups and clean up went perfect. Although pretty durable, I would say this sink would be easy to break if I was trying. Really the only thing we don’t like about it is that the logo “Vigo” is printed on the sink. This is the only reason for 4 stars and not 5. I thought of turning the sink around so you don’t see it directly but the sink is shallow enough that you see it regardless. At least it’s light and not that noticeable. Would recommend - it’s affordable and looks great!

We remodeled our bathroom and put in 2 of these sinks. I was a little worried that they would stain but they haven't. They are a little shallow but we don't run the water hard, so no problems with that. The only problem I had was with the corners being so sharp. I scratched my arm on one of the corners when we first put the sinks in. My husband smoothed the corners down and everything is perfect. The quality is really great.

This basin is wonderfully deep -- very important for us in keeping water from splashing on every nearby surface when in actual use. Knowing that any possible chip or stain can be sanded out means we can USE the sink -- we don't have to treat it as precious. Flawless design with smooth, rounded edges and corners, leaving nowhere for dirt to hide.

These sinks are awesome. They were easy to install and look amazing. I would highly recommend these sinks to anyone interested in them!!!!

Gosh these VIGO vessel sinks are so gorgeous. I love the weight of them and their matte glaze. I can’t wait to install in my farmhouse bathroom remodel with my VIGO matte black faucets. Would absolutely recommend. Oh yeah and packaging was superb!

Great product, great price and beautiful. You won’t be disappointed. We have two in our house.
