GREAT guitar!!
I was a little reluctant to order this guitar based on the low price. I read the reviews and then went out on the web and did more research and read more reviews. I am so glad I did. This is a great guitar! Sound and quality is just as good if not better than guitars WAY more expensive. The color is great too. If you are hesitant to buy it, do it! You won't regret it.

Great guitar for a great price
I bought this guitar (the black one) without ever playing before and I was hesitant at first because of the bad reviews or people talking about setting it up. All I've done is tune it and it sounds amazing, string ring out nice, frets arent sharp and overall feels great to play. Great guitar for a great price.

Pretty good right out of the box...
After reading all the reviews, I decided to try this brand, and I'm glad I did. It is a very nice instrument. Having said that, I had to adjust a severe bow in the neck, oiled the fingerboard, and replaced the strings. The sound is very crisp with plenty of volume. The pickup is internal and reproduces the sound quite well. It has individual settings for bass (boost), mid-range and treble as well as volume on the top band of the guitar. No buzzing or unusual sounds. It stays in tune. I bought it so I can carry it around and not worry about dings and scratches, but I like it a lot (now).

This guitar is the best guitar for the price!
The media could not be loaded. I'm a Novice player on a good day. I have pick up playing the guitar for physical therapy after neck fusion surgery and I just purchased this guitar because I've wanted acoustic electric guitar to play. I'm not sure how this will sound on your end, but I am so impressed and more motivated than ever! I have a Klipsch Gig XXL Portable wireless speaker as my Amplifier and the sound is Amazing. I am Completely Happy with my Ashthrope Dreadnought Guitar. Can't beat the price and the EQ brings out the deap lows and highs and is perfect for me as a novice player. I encourage anyone looking at buying an electric/acoustic guitar to purchase the Ashthrope Dreadnought. Best guitar for the price.

Amazing
Now I’m really surprised and I’m not often. This thing gets good reviews but if anyone gives it a bad one it has something to do with fedex not the guitar or seller. This was way above the quality I expected. It’s just a nice guitar and has nothing to do with “for the money.” It’s beautiful and made well. It reminds me of more expensive guitars (by far) that I had as a kid. Literally if anyone has a problem with this guitar they are the type that asks for the Manager EVERY time they go out to eat. Im really happy with it.

Unbelievable Guitar at this Price
I've been playing guitar over 30 years. I am not great , but have had a lot of fun around campfires , Sunday School , etc .I haven't bought a guitar in over 20 years , but my hobby is making music videos .Last month , I thought what do I have to lose trying this guitar . I watched reviews , and just couldn't believe it. I now own 3 of these since then , Red , Blue , and Black . My preference is the dreadnought, but I did buy a cutaway model also , just so I have a varied Collection . The neck is perfect for me , the tuning pegs are adequate, extra Strings , the Colors are stunning , and this guitar plays as good as my other more expensive ones , at a fraction of the price. I may buy 1 more yet .... but I took a break from having guitars delivered to me for a bit. Never did I dream I could buy this quality , at this price ...Great for beginners , and intermediate players ...

Needs considerable set up
I got the black one and it looks great. It has a rich full bodied sound. The neck has a bow in it and it's going to need a truss rod adjustment. The action is very high which makes it difficult to play. I'm going to have to sand down the bridge saddle. Overall it appears to be a well built guitar but I would not recommend it for a beginner. If you don't know how to do your own set up work it's going to cost you about $60 to have a guitar tech set it up. Fortunately for me, I'm able to do my own set up work.I have bought low end Epiphones which were very playable right out of the box.I suggest you pay a lillte more for an Epiphone and steer clear of this Ashthorpe. When I'm finished with it, it will be a decent guitar, but as is, it's not playable in it's current condition. Very disappointed.Follow up...After adjusting the truss rod and action, this guitar is everything any player could ask for. It sounds and plays as well as a two thousand dollar Martin or Taylor. There are lots of high end guitar snobs who will disagree but it's true. With proper set up, you can make most any cheap guitar sound and play like a million bucks!

If you are partial to Fender acoustics you are goin to love this guitar.
I've been playing guitar for just about 60 years now. I'm more of a finger picking folk type, but do on occasion slide into the smooth cool rhythm and blues. Bought this on a whim after reading the reviews, because hey, it's only a hundred bucks, right? Just wanted something extra to play around with alternate tunings. This guitar has completely blown me away. Did not expect the quality or the sound, especially for this price. Looking for a solid acoustic to add to your repertoire? Trust me, this is the one.

Very poor quality
Brand name isn't what was received, though it looks identical. It won't tune properly and trying to tune it to standard tuning, causes the high E strings to break as it is too tight to play. Multiple strings sound dead, even when using good strings. The tuning keys don't turn properly and the overall sound quality is terrible. This isn't even a good beginner guitar!

Good sound
Frets were jagged..had to file them..sound is good but better electric...overall pretty good..
