Great piece, the cross pendant is heavy and retains its chrome shine with excessive wear. It is closer to a pectoral cross at 2 inch plus in height.The design is gothic, but the shape of the cross is a French variant of the Apostolic Cross. On the ends of the cross there are three points, which in the traditional Apostolic Cross are rounded/ budded, here on this cross the three points are like the fleur de lis ends. Each of the three points represents The Holy Trinity of Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit, all twelve points total represent the Twelve Apostles, hence apostolic cross. There are also four larger circles on the cross, one at the head, two on the horizontal cross beam, one in the center, and one at the bottom of the cross, these are five wounds of Christ: Head, Side, Hands, and Feet.This cross is a perfect Medieval Cross gift that has major symbolism. I highly recommend it.I do agree the chain is not real durable and great, it will suffice till you can get a better one.

This cross was the star of this purchase . The chain not so much. The cross has a fixed point of attachment this makes this cross worth it . I personally wear this one backwards for the cleaner look , the Gothic shape and the durability make this one a winner..

Loved this necklace! Good quality and hasn’t changed colors at all. Wish the back wasn’t flat and the design was all around but regardless I love it and it’s worth the buy

I actually bought this to wear to a Ozzy concert..which unfortunately was canceled...but I have found that I wear it alot with regular outfits! It's well made and has some weight to it. By far one of my favorite pieces!
