It’s so easy to use and easy to clean as well. I made 2-1/2 pounds of sausage from one cylinder. I don’t know what the negative reviewers were doing wrong, but just follow the directions and you’ll be amazed. I love the suction clamp, it really holds the unit in place while you’re turning the crank. And when you’re done, there’s very little waste, if at all. You’ll just need to push the last remaining ground meat into the casing with your thumb. The only thing I noticed was that the screw caps discolored a bit after running them through the dishwasher. You wouldn’t think that would happen with stainless steel. So perhaps hand washing in hot soapy water would be better.

Really easy to use, worked well. Easy to clean too. I’m only giving it 4 stars because it does start to rust.

This sausage stuffer arrived yesterday and I used it to make a batch of sausage. I was initially very please with it and it was more efficient than other sausage stuffer I've used before, however after I hand washed it I noticed that it's not stainless less steel as it claims in the description. The body reminded its original color but it's non magnetic so I'm guessing it's aluminum. ALL other parts started to immediately oxidize and the threaded rod started to rust. I mean you can't even touch it without it staining your hands now. Also the inside of the soft presumably aluminum body is scraped from the back plate as it pushes the sausage forward. Which means in addition to the material being in correct metal shavings are present in your sausage too. Completely inaccurate and unsafe for food.

A+++ I have never bought an item sight unseen that so perfectly met my needs. In combination with the smallest diameter stuffing tube in the Tesor stainless steel #8 set of four (available here on Amazon) (7/16"/12mm tube, in this application), which isn't a perfect fit but works fine, this stuffer had no problem with either collagen or lamb casings. Two pounds of stuffing was done in less than a minute. Vacuum base tightly connects the stuffer to a kitchen countertop. Highly recommended!!!

Not bad for small batch. Biggest complaints are the plastic tube is too short and pushes back into meat with barely any pressure. Caps are hard to turn on threads.
