Why does my HP laptop show the new HP sd card at 233 gb and not 256 gb as advertised
Pro: I bought this SD card for my HP laptop - to replace an adapter (for sd cards) that was defective. I was happy to find out that my HP laptop accepted and recognized this full size HP sd card -I have had no issues with my HP laptop since inserting this 256 gb sd card.Con: I purchased the HP 256 gb card, but when I placed the card into my HP laptop, the available GB shows only 233 gb of storage. Yet the amount of used memory shows at 1.6 mb - this is a brand new card, so I am confused how 23 gb can be deducted from the card.Other than the 23 gb of lost memory, I am satisfied with the performance of the HP sd card

Works As Described
This is the least expensive 512GB U3 SDXC I could find. I haven't measured the speed of data transfer, but it seems to be great, and haven't had any issues at all with it. I use this for music recording, and it was fast in writing and reading. It was compatible with my mixer and computer.I would highly recommend this card if you are on a budget but need a good card with ample space.

Fits my E5 just right, seems to be good quality, perhaps a bit overpriced. I think it will work just fine tho.

Best value 512 MB card, totally legit
This is the least expensive 512K U3 SD I could find. I tested it completely with h2testw (good simple free SD card checker) and it's 100% good.Average write time to fill the whole card was 33 MB/sec, which is consistent with the U3 rating of 30 MB/s. Average read speed was 74.6 MB/s.
