The light and airy quality is great for air retention in the pot. Plants need oxygen and water to thrive and this product holds the moisture and allows air to exist around the roots. The smell is neutral and it’s worth every penny. I expect by it’s appearance this will push growth beyond my expectations.

so, I've tried a bunch of soils to start my babies in. fox farm etc.. you with me? this is the real deal. i can pop beans right in the cup with this stuff and the seedlings seem to like it better than anything else I've used. rapid healthy growth. its a little pricey but, like the old saying goes. you get what you pay for. this is really clean soil, no bugs or weird stuff growing in it. holds water well yet lets your roots breath well too. i do and will continue to recommend promix . hopefully this will help. Great for growing veggies indoors or at least starting plants. Used for great cannabis, no bugs, no flies, was clean soil and has fungicide to stop root rot and rooting issues. I used it happily with Clonex spray for roots like very thick hair that grows well in cloth pots. Be sure to fertilize this soil.

A brief response to the cost comparison comment. The bales of this product are much more densely packed than the bags, so other portability, there’s not much difference, IMO. ProMix is an excellent product for loosening up clumped clay-ey soil in the garden, however it arrives on the front doorstep.

ProMix HP is the very best growing medium. The ProMix bag of soil was shipped in a protective box, which made sure the bag was delivered intact free from damage. This soil is very loamy and water drains well. The most impressive thing about ProMix HP was the explosive growth of the plants. Don’t let the initial costs stop you from growing in this medium. The value for your money comes in not having to make your own soil or medium and the explosive growth. I’m finally glad that I made the switch. The shipping was great by FedX and the parcel was received intact with no holes or tears in the bag of soil.

Great potting soil. A littl pricey, but you get what you pay for and the shipping was free.

This pro mix worked great this grown season. All my seedling and plants look fantastic. Best year so far staring seeds.
