For the money, with the warranty, worthwhile purchase to select riders
To start, I have put 100 miles on these wheels, installed them myself, and am upgrading from a Shimano Axis 2.0 aluminum wheelset. I have an 11 gear cassette, which perfectly matched these wheels.**TL;DR: Easy installation, comes with quick release, valve extenders, and brake pads. Weight was as expected, has bladed spokes, wheel quality is excellent for price. On descents and in stiff winds these will give you speed, but otherwise are negligible. Feel slightly sluggish when accelerating, and braking is diminished until you wear in the pads.Great for the price, but don't expect it to change your riding experience. As a cyclist on a budget, i'm happy with my purchase.**Wheels arrived completely undamaged, and perfectly true. Pictures included fresh out of box.Contents:obviously the 2 carbon wheels, one front, one rear. The hub of the rear wheel came with a new spacer for your cassette.2 quick releases.4 rim screwsextra spokes (I think 4)2 valve extenders4 brake pads for carbon wheelsI really appreciate that the wheels came with all of the accessories. Made installation so much easier. Especially the brake pads and valve extenders.Physical:Typically a slim aluminum will weigh about the same as a deep carbon, just because the carbon wheel has more material on the rim. In my case, I upgraded from wheels that were 2.9kg with tires, so there was a slightly noticeable weight reduction. The wheels seem sturdy, with a nice glossy exterior. The braking surface is unfinished to give better contact with the pads. The pads, by the way, are some k ind of rubber composite, maybe a urethane. They have an almost chalk like surface texture. The ratchet on the rear wheel is very loud, and sounds rather cheap. The bearings themselves have little rolling resistance. We'll see if they last.I surprised to find out that these wheels have BLADED SPOKES, to further reduce drag. A really nice feature!I love the color of these. I would describe it as an 'Alien Green' color. For color comparison on my bike I have bontrager grip tape, G2 lemon lime gatorade in my water bottle, and green Vittoria Rubino tires.Performance:According to my strava times, these wheels are.... marginally faster. Nothing to really write home about. For starters, since they are deep set, they act more like a flywheel. Meaning they are harder to get up to speed, but hold a constant speed better. The performance gain from the aerodynamic shape is most noticeable on descents, long flats, and in stiff headwinds. As carbon wheels, obviously they are stiffer and slightly more responsive than an aluminum. The deep set rim does respond more to cross winds, which can potentially blow you over or make turning into the wind difficult. Also with carbon, brake distance is diminished, but these wheels felt... more pronounced. On one occasion i skidded my back tire out coming to a stop, and in general my confidence in braking an turning is significantly less than my aluminum wheels. The first 2 rides with these wheels were definitely scary for this reason. I'm getting more comfortable with them, but i might just get some good cork pads as well.**Update**updating from 4/5 stars to 5/5 stars.Put around 500 miles into these wheels, and i'm proud to say that they are still riding true and i have had no issues.Important to note that the braking has improved significantly. I feel confident with these wheels, and have been able to make some sudden stops when needed. The break pads need to be worn in, likely to remove that chalky surface texture. So be careful on your first few rides, but thereafter you should be good to go. You could probably take some sand paper to rough them up, if you don't want to wait. These wheels are also pretty hardy. I've ridden on some choppy roads and hit debris/pot holes a few times (it happens), and the wheels have no visible cracks in them.I would recommend getting tires with 80mm valve stems. The valve extenders are a nice addition but just not worth the fuss. Any local bike shop should carry them.Consensus:For the money ($330 at time of purchase), these are fantastic quality carbon wheels. Add on the warranty, and the proactive customer service, and you really can't ask for more. I think this was a great purchase experience, they look beautiful and i'm very happy with them.BUTUpgrading to these won't be for everyone. The performance gains are really minimal, and if you aren't racing it probably won't make a difference. The brakes are unresponsive until worn in, so be aware on your first few rides. If you are looking for fairly cheap carbon wheels, i think these are a good quality option. But don't expect it to change your riding experience unless you only ride on flat roads with strong headwinds.

Impressed
I put these rims on back in the beginning of October. I now have 1200 miles on them and I have to say they have performed better than expected. Good value for the money. Many have said they don’t like the clicking sound the rear wheel makes but I like it. Many of the more expensive bikes have this clicking sound. It’s like glass pack mufflers for your bike. Embrace the click.

Good so far!
I would give 5 stars but but I plan to update to see if the product lasts or I need customer service on warranty given the nature of the product. Let’s be clear, while the wheels look really nice, these are not name brand hubs and wheels to go brag to all your friends about. This is very apparent in the hubs, which seem like really cheep hubs at first glance when you unbox. The hubs are clearly not the beefy high quality hubs you may have paid high price for in the past. I was fully prepared for this reading reviews, including for other wheels )not these) for which reviewers have reported broken hubs after a certain number of miles. Nevertheless, so far so good on these after the first 33 mile ride. I admit I treated them gingerly for the first ride. I will start to put stress on them my next few rides and report back. But so far, I wish they would charge maybe $100 more or so, and supply Shimono or Campy hubs with the nice rims and blade spokes they do provide. And another thing, the other reviews are accurate regarding the spacer needed for a Shimono 9 speed cassette.Update at 2 weeks:Wheels still going strong after 350 miles. Road hard on them including sprints and intervals and still true. Only unsettling thing is the strange sound of the hub bearings under load. While they still seem intact, makes me wonder what is happening to the bearings or if I am just sensitive to sounds. I may open the hubs up one of these days to see if there is any wear. Again, wish the hubs were a trusted brand instead of the generic ones provided.Update at around 1500 miles:Still going strong, even after several high stress rides. Still afraid to take hubs apart to examine the bearings, but despite my fears, the hubs still roll free.Based on 1500 miles of hard riding, updating to 5 stars. Will see if this remains the case after a few months or a year.UPDATE:Based on many more countless miles, and so far, perfect performance, I just ordered a 2nd pair for my backup bike. Yes, that’s how much I like these wheels. I wish this company would consider making a carbon frame too. As far as my first pair, I would suggest checking the tension after 2500-3000 miles. I prefer to keep the tension at least as OEM to prevent wheel noise, and to stop wheel flex. I also recommend greasing the right rear spoke crosses once in a while, as with any wheel set. Also, I had to tighten the rear axel after 2500 miles when I noticed significant play in the wheel causing brake pad rubbing. It was easy using an Allen key, but unusual as I am used to tightening axels with a wrench, but these hubs don’t have a nut to tighten them, Just the Allen bolt on each axel end. I now check for axel play once a week or so. I do repeat what others have said in that there are lighter wheels. But here is my advice on that: if you are a serious racer who wants lighter wheels at 4-5 times the price of these, then show sponsors that you can win races with the cheapest wheels and get them to sponsor your next $3000 wheel set to save a few ounces.Update at around 8000 miles: can't say enough good things about these wheels for the price. Yes, if you are looking for professional-grade wheels to save a few ounces over these wheels, that some consider too heavy for carbon wheels, you need to go ahead and spend the normal $2000-$5000 if you are that particular. Yes, you do need to be careful in the wind as you would any deep-dish wheels, no matter what the price. I for one would never recommend that an unsponsored amateur rider who is spending his or her own paycheck spend $2000-$5000 on wheels, but if you want the marginal better performance than these wheels offer, be my guest. But for the price of these wheels, so far, they are absolute tanks! They hold up very well, and I even crashed one of my two sets I bought hard enough to crack my bicycle frame, and after some minor truing, these wheels kept going with my replacement frame, no problem. I can't say enough good things for the price.
