Update: 7 months later & this case is still wonderful!! I’ve dropped my phone over a dozen times, all the way to the concrete on a few occasions, with no damage whatsoever to my phone (even w/o the screen protector I was too lazy to put on) and only minimal scratching of the case corners. Also, the edges of the case have worn down nicely over time and the once-new, “factory” feeling of the material feels more rubbery now, where I no longer feel that I’m banging my phone when I put it face down on a hard surface. Goes into my pocket so nicely and has maintained its sleek, classy appearance. It still has my 5* vote...it must...I’m ordering one for my mother-in-law!! :)I decided upon this case hoping it would be sturdy enough, yet still sleek enough to fit in my pocket. I tend to lay my phone face down most times so it was important the phone screen didn’t touch whatever surface and this case is perfect for that too. It has grippy material but not too much so. Easy to get case on & off (with a little force given to one corner). A lot of water spewed from pressure cooker onto the backside of case where I had it sitting face down on the counter and not a drop affected my phone. (Not that this case is water resistant but just to show it is tightly sealed). I was worried the color may be a little juvenile for this 40 yo mom, but the rose gold looks classy on my iPhone 8 & not too pink at all. I tried another case in a store and it screamed bubble gum! The buttons all fit the openings exactly as they should and no accidental pressing or being too hard to press. I would highly recommend if you’re wanting a middle of the road case...good protection without having to use Otterbox, but also not wanting to be left with a cheap, “cute only ” case that barely protects. I’m amazed at the price! Just order this if you’re contemplating. You’ll be happy you did!!

I LOVE this case! It's well made with quality materials and it fits my iPhone 7 perfectly. I bought the rose gold to match my phone and the color is almost a perfect match, with the case being just a hair darker than the phone itself. The case fits snugly and provides more than adequate protection. All controls and the charging port are readily accessible and function beautifully. I've had cases in the past that were too tight in the charging port area so I had to modify them for it to fit.I really like the way it's colored around the edge of the phone and clear on the back; my phone looks sleek and naked, yet is completely protected from breakage (unless I should drop it face down onto sharp pokey things taller than the recess between the case and the screen).I agree with other reviewers that the protective plastic covering that comes on the case is a bitch to remove..there should be a tab or something to grab on to. I thought I was going to scratch up the case trying to get the film off.Of all the cases I've had (and there have been many over the years), this one is my absolute favorite.

I purchased this case for my iPhone 7 back in 2016 right after I preordered my phone because it was one of the only cases available before the phone’s release and I didn’t want to start using my phone without a case. I’d never used a transparent case before, but since I went with the rose gold phone, I liked the idea that I could show off the color even while using a case. I also liked that the rose gold trim (of the case) is almost a perfect match to my phone’s color. The case was also inexpensive, so I figured I’d have a case to use right away and I’d just get a new (better) case once the phone was released and more cases became available. Well here we are, 18 months later and I’ve never replaced my case! Its withstood being dropped and frequent handling and the case and my phone still look brand new. I rarely even have to remove the case to clean out dust particles because its tightly sealed so dirt and dust stays out. Unlike some other inexpensive transparent cases on the market, my Caseology case isn’t loaded with surface scratches or scuffs either. The case snaps on and off easily, but once the phone’s snapped in, its staying put. Not once has the case ever popped off or has my phone slipped out of the case. All of the buttons are easily accessible as well as the charging port. I’m so pleased at how well this case protects my phone, I finally decided to give it a 5 star review. No need to spend loads of money on a protective case. When it comes time to upgrade my iPhone, I won’t hesitate buying another Casology case for it.

I’ve had this case for quite some time now and overall it’s still in pretty good shape. A few nicks here and there from when I’ve dropped my phone, but my phone itself is still great ! When I first got the case it took me a long while to find out how to take the clear tape off the case at first I thought it didn’t come off at all but after messing with it for a while I figured out how to take it off. The back of it does get finger prints on it pretty easily, but it wasn’t something that really bothered me all that much. There is this like thing that happens to the middle of the back of the case. It’s like it sticks close to the middle of my phone making this (I don’t know what to call it) a just spot? I can make it go away but kinda pulling the case up a little bit so it’s not really a problem and it only happens once in a while. The case is pretty hard to attach and take off I even broke a little part of it where the sound switch is trying to take it off one time , but that’s because I was a little too frustrated trying to take it off haha. I know this is long but overall I say this was a great buy been about a year or more and it still looks pretty great and it has saved my phone from some nasty falls. For it being so thin I didn’t think it would be so durable so I’m really happy about that. Overall I think this is a good purchase if you want a nice thin (not a big hunky case) case that allows you to show of the phones natural look( I have a red iPhone 7). Buying a red phone I wanted to be able to actually see it and since most cases hide your phone this was a nice buy. OH and it actually protects my phone which is a big plus. 10/10 would recommend
