Bought this as a birthday gift to my wife and despite knowing the chain that comes with the pendant is not gold, even though I was a bit misled because it doesn't say anywhere that it isn't. I think they could provide something with a better quality. The one I received is terribly tarnished all along. The fact the chain is made of such poor material it makes me wonder if the pendant is made with a real ruby and 14k gold. Second pictured compared to a 14k necklace. Besides there was not certificate of authenticity in the box. Very, very disappointed.

It's sometimes hard to judge a gemstone's quality from a photo. This green amethyst is outstanding. The cut, color, and clarity can't be beat, especially for the price. The sparkle and the way it catches the light is beautiful. I have a few loose green amethyst stones that don't come close to the quality of this one. I'm really pleased with this purchase. It was also delivered a few days earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise.

My girlfriend loved this. The 3 karat stone was cut beautifully and well mounted in the pendant. It hung perfectly on her neck. Not too low and not too high. I really like this company. Much nicer than most of the jewelry on amazon. I’ll def be revisiting this store in the future

The color of this stone is truly a beautiful emerald green. Set on its corners makes the square cut of the stone modern and cool.

This pendant is extraordinary! The colors are so bright. I wear it everyday along with the matching earrings that you can order from Peora. I am saving up to get the matching ring. I fell in love with Alexandrite on my recent cruise to Jamaica. Peora's prices beat everything I saw there and I think the quality is much better. Peora ships their jewelry in a very fast manner and the boxes that they come in are just beautiful. This would make a lovely gift.

This necklace is absolutely gorgeous !! Even if it weren't a really good created Alexandrite the cut is perfect, it sparkles with every move. The color change is good, (so far) I've only had it in sunlight and in the house and it did change from a deep purple to a beautiful teal. I'll update as soon as my granddaughter wears it in different lights such as florescent etc. You actually can see flecks of red in the sparkle though. It's size is perfect, not too small, not too large, although I was pleasantly surprised with the size. I thought it would be smaller but it's the perfect size. Even if you're not looking specifically for an Alexandrite this would be a great choice for any woman's collection !! I was also very happy with the chain, it's like a tiny chevron design, looks dainty but feels good and sturdy. The last few necklaces I have bought, (elsewhere) have had the flimsy chain that always breaks in short order. I think this one will hold up nicely.....finally !! I might also mention the boxing was very, very nice also.
