I installed this on a stock 2021 Silverado Trail Boss with a 5.3. This finally brings out the v8 sound without being obnoxious. Since the stock exhaust pipes still have resonators, it keeps the sound tame. Sounds great when you reach higher RPMs but won’t notice it when you are cruising. No drone. Installed in less than 30 minutes.

The pipe fit perfect on my 2021 Chevy Silverado. Works like it’s supposed to the difference and sound is like night and day. It’s so much louder now and sounds like a truck. I was shocked. You won’t be disappointed if you get it.

This muffler delete exceeded my expectations. I wanted more grunt out of my 2016 Silverado 5.3 with out excessive volumes as I use this truck as a tow vehicle. The installation was incredibly easy. The only thing I wish MBRP would’ve done is made it a little longer to bypass the valve as it makes a rattling noise I have since bypassed that to fix that problem. I would’ve given this five stars but this was a third-party item. It took a lot longer to ship than expected.

Followed the directions: cut out the old muffler. This pipe slid in place perfectly! Rotated the pipe to get proper orientation then tightened down the supplied clamps. Done in about 10 minutes! The sound is great!

Perfect fit and easy installation

Sounds awesome! Not too loud at start up or highway driving. if you romp on it, it sounds aggressive and mean. Definitely Recommended. only took about 20 mins to install. If you want more aggressive and louder you can clamp the muffler flap open and cover the resonators. I find it perfect with just the muffler delete. And the valve intact.

Nothing says it fits the SUVs but trial and error.. fits perfect.

Installation instructions were very clear, product fit perfectly on 2022 trail boss 5.3. Sounds awesome-nice growl when you stomp on it but at cruising speeds i can hardly hear it. The installation took about 20 minutes after reading the instructions.

This muffler delete is awesome! Sure it’s not a cat back exhaust system but it lets the v-8 come alive!
