I'm really happy that this product has no additives; it's purely Organic Coconut Sugar. The coconut sugar can be substituted one for one instead of using white sugar. The taste is a little different...perhaps a little like brown sugar. I find it to be a good and healthy alternative for white sugar.

I found the granules of this coconut sugar to be a better consistency for dissolving. Good taste, good price. Not too sweet of a sugar content, no bitter aftertaste. Mainly functions as a sugar replacement in baked goods, 1:1 ratio. Also use in coffee and superfood drinks.

Umani sugar. Absolutely necessary for making Pad Thai and useful for sweetening your own instant cocoa from drinking cocoa like Drost and just add hot water and a good dash of half and half. Adds some extra flavor, with less sugar blast, and you can also add some stevia or monk fruit. This is all nice if you are allergic to that instant cocoa that comes in packets and has God know what in it.

A mild flavored and a natural Sweetness that makes a great cup of cocoa and homemade root beer but has No effect on our blood sugar levels!

I was looking for a better alternative to regular cane sugar for my coffee. Most things I've tried had extra taste or - like xylotol - some extra impact (the anti-bacterial properties also can affect gut health). I wanted an actual sugar, but a better option, and eventually found this. It doesn't have any taste impact. It's a bit to pricey to use for cooking, etc. but for sweetening my morning coffee, it does the job well.
