I really love this devotional. It doesn't take too much time to do, and the stories are real and wonderful without being too much, too dramatic or over done. It's perfect for those difficult moments when you need a quick moment with God and a bit of a reset.

This is a great book for new moms! Also a perfect gift to bring to a baby shower. When everyone is getting books for mom it’s so special to sneak something meaningful in for momma

As with so much of her work, Ellie writes in such a way that is both so full of empathy and yet so full of hope. Through her short yet powerful devotionals, she is able to see into your experience, hold you closely, and cheer you on towards the One who is our ultimate hope. You can sense her heart and her deep compassion with every word she writes. I will be buying this for all the new moms in my life, and still resonate deeply with all of its themes and encouragements even though I am a few years into motherhood. This book is such a powerful resource and support for these intense months that can be so challenging. Ellie reminds us with great comfort that we are not alone on this journey.

Great, short devotions for a busy mom. As a first time mom, these short devotions and encouraging Bible verses are just what I need. The book has a thicker paperback cover which I love.

To start off, I am hopelessly biased since the author is none other than my amazing wife. So while I can't say a mean word about her book if I tried, it also means I have had a front-row seat to witness how she has lived out her motherhood journey with honesty, transparency, and in ways that have been helpful for many other mothers in her life. And her ability to process her journey with such eloquence gives the rest of us a glimpse into what mothers go through, and helps us learn how best to come alongside to support and encourage. Got this as a gift for a new mom. She loved it. Great quality

This book is a gift to moms who need some encouragement and who need to be reminded that they are not alone. The tone of this read is so personal, it’s like having your close friend bring you a warm cup of tea and sit you down next to you to tell you how great you are doing as a mom and how it’s okay to feel all the feels sometimes. What is most important is that this book is a balm for the mom who needs to be reminded that she is seen and loved, and that God is with her through it all. This is truly a must have for whatever stage of mothering you are in!

Nothing wrong with the contents of the book but it wasn’t as advertised on the photos as it appeared to look like the inside was coloured. The pages are in fact black and white which kind of makes it look dull and boring considering the price point of this book I did expect for the pages to be coloured just as advertised. Sad to see this wasn’t the case.
