Update: Second time (and screen) lucky I installed this and it is working well. The brightness isn’t as good as the factory original but it is more than adequate. The screen features a small adhesive strip for the light sensor and also a welcome moulded mount for the camera to fit into — not all replacement screens have these. I found the error on my first installation (original review below) was mine: an errant screw had dropped into the open phone and had pushed up on the screen as I closed it. Live and learn. Next time I buy a new phone I think I’ll choose one of the brands that is designed to be user-serviceable but this replacement part is certainly a lot cheaper than a new phone!Original review: I installed the screen fairly easily (have done this before), transferring the home button and camera/speaker/light sensor assembly from the old screen. Tested and all working great. Unfortunately as I pushed the screen back in I found it wasn’t quite fitting properly on the bottom left corner. In pressing it down I broke the screen which now has a big black blob. Was this me? Or did the screen not quite fit the base properly? Unsure— let’s try again.

While reading through tutorials on how to fit new screen I heard horror stories of poor quality screens. I was worried I'll be honest. When I fitted the screen and switched it on and tested the digitised touch screen and the quality of the picture, I was so happy. I don't always leave product reviews but this definately deserves it. Thank you so much for an amazing product. My old screen was an apple original, with this screen you cannot tell the difference. Buy with confidence.

My wife had a cracked 6s and upgraded, I had an old 5s and wanted to have her old phone. Rather than paying £60 or so for a shop to replace the screen, I thought I'd try it myself for £20. The package came the next day on Prime and had everything pictured, the screen was wrapped in bubble wrap and a cellophane bag to protect it.The instructions which came with the kit are of no help, but there are very good youtube videos. I followed a video step by step, pausing and replaying it several times, and eventually got it done. I say eventually because the tools are sub-standard, greatly increasing the time taken to do simple parts of the job, like undoing the tiny cross head screws. The plastic pry bars are weak and deformed almost immediately, so I had to use the point of a sharp knife to ease the original screen away from the rest of the phone - which is glued in so takes quite a lot of pressure. The pentalobe screw driver is okay, and thankfully there's only two of them to tackle.Once installed, the screen lit up nicely with a good image quality but didn't respond to touch. Having seen this mentioned in other reviews I knew to force restart the phone (holding the home button and power button) and after it rebooted it worked fine. I've since had to reboot the phone after waking it a couple of times, which is a little inconvenient but not a huge deal.The screen brightness and colours are very good, closely comparable to the original, however, if you look closely you can see the pixels, so it's not a retina HD screen like the original. That being said, the screen looks great, you'd have to look closely to see it's not the original, and for the sake of £20 I now have a 6s, which is a bargain of course.My advice would be that you can do this yourself, even without prior experience (I didn't have any), but watch a good Youtube guide closely, take your time, be patient, take breaks if necessary (the cables and pins in particular are very delicate, so if you damage them the phone has had it) and get a decent small philip's screwdriver, the kind you might use for the screws on a pair of glasses. The YouTube video I followed was the 5min 33 second video by user - “laptopscreen “dot” com.

It does the job few dead pixels but cant complain for price also bit footery changing speaker and cammera over so if you are a novice buying it i would opt for one with speaker and cammera attached. Also pretty flimsy first night in pocket with loose change it cracked

Easy to fit and works well. I can see my screen!

The screen looked ok, but when I put it and I turned on my phone was a black line on the screen. I changed iPhone screens so many times so I know how to do it very well. I contacted the seller to change it for a new one. but the only option they give me is to return 80 percent of the money or send them back the screen and get my full money. But no screen. In the UK we are in lockdown and it is difficult to go out just to return a screen. so I am not happy with the solution, I just wanted a new screen so my husband can use his phone after our baby broke his screen. I use amazon very often and it is the first time someone refuse give me a replacement of the item I got if it is not working.

Righty, so, I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into - up until today I had never replaced a mobile phone screen before.Whilst watching several YouTube videos on instalment I come to realise most of the time LCD replacement screens do not have certain brackets and other bits and bobs on them so usually the person fixing the phone would have to get a crafts knife, double sided tape and transfer those bits onto the new screen... with this screen evening you need is on it (bar two cushions that goes on the plates of the connection from screen to phone) but that’s fine cos they peel off and simply stick on - something todo with the grounding of the electrics. Anyways, this screen is marvellous. The brightness the colour the touch sensitivity everything! Very refreshing, I’m very pleased :) thankyouuuu

My 12 year old dropped his phone down the stairs after a week of having it. Smashed screen. Got this, fitted it within 15 minutes..all good. No fingerprint tech so has to use his passcode but better than forking out 100s on a new phone.

J’ai acheté ce produit pour réparer un téléphone et je suis satisfait de la qualité de l’écran. Le seul problème c’est que j’ai reçu un écran blanc au lieu de noir.

Conforme en tous points à l’écran de l’iPhone 6S, prévoyez tout de même de récupérer le blindage arrière de l’ écran remplacé ainsi que ses vis de fixation qui ne sont pas inclus au kit. Cela exige un peu de manipulations sinon le kit est qualitatif et on a ici aussi des outils à disposition. Une fois le tout remis en place l’iPhone 6S est à nouveau un superbe smartphone reparti pour de nouvelles aventures dans les mains d’un ado qui lui en fait voir. C’est d’ailleurs mon deuxième écran... Par contre avec ce dernier, des bugs aléatoires du tactile et du bouton home (pour la reconnaissance tactile notamment) ??

Frenchement niquel rien a dire les touche et tout marche parfaitement rien a dire a recommander ! ☺️☺️
