Paint Brush Washer,Airtight Stainless Steel Brush Cleaner for Oil Painting Acrylic,Brush Washer with Cleaning Beads and Wringer

I take a weekly oil painting class and I take all my supplies with me in a large art bag. I was using a glass brush cleaning jar and was concerned about accidental breakage and so I thought I’d try this. It works great. No worries about breakage and the seal is very secure - no leakage.

Very nice for small brushes!

The ball bearings get brushes nice and clean and the paint drifts down to the bottom, so your water lasts longer. I then dispose of the water in kitty litter. I believe the brushes are cleaner with this than using a paint puck in water. Plus the puck seemed to damage bristles and I don't see any damage after using the steel bearings in this washer.I'm a very happy acrylic painter with this brush washer. Can't imagine going back to a jar and paint puck after this.

i could see this being a lot more useful to someone who paints in oils, as the lid closes tightly to keep the fumes at bay and you don't need to use a lot of solvent to clean brushes. also, as another reviewer has pointed out, with oils, the paint will fall to the bottom and leave the solvent clear at the top and you can pour it off an reuse it, then clean out the bottom.with acrylics, you'd have to let the paint water sit for a lot longer for it to settle like that; it will eventually but just takes longer. i do like the brush rest/wringer insert which comes in handy especially with smaller brushes that you don't want to sit so deeply in the water. i like the metal balls for swishing around the bristles of the brushes, which helps clean them better with less effort. and i like that it's all stainless steel, very rugged and easy to clean. but for acrylic artists, unless you work pretty small and use only small brushes, this won't work all that well as it can only hold a small amount of water and will quickly get too dirty to clean your brush. i'm using it on my painting table with 4 other buckets of water and only using it with small brushes, so it will work for me. but it's not an end-all solution in and of itself.seems a little pricey to me when i'd just as soon use a plastic cup, but if you want something of better quality and nicer looking, this is a great option.

Works as advertised. No issues or problems. I like that I can clamp the top down and not worry about spillage or smell. I also like that it has the small ball bearings and the brush "beater" wire to help clean the brushes. It is small (and I would have liked it just a bit larger), but I have not had any issues cleaning my 2-inch paint brushes.

It's alittle smaller than I was expecting but it works.

The seal on the lid is great, no leaks. I would like to see more of those wonderful steel balls on the bottom to help with the brush cleaning.
