EDIT: I'm happy to come back to this review to say that the customer service from the company was absolutely stellar! Shortly after my review they contacted me and quickly sent me a new batch of peppers, as well as a thorough explanation of their process in dealing with their product during production. Their quality control is apparent just in the peppers themselves (they're very fresh and flavorful), and their fast and effective response in addressing my concern about any pests has left me entirely satisfied. I will be happy to purchase from them again in the future, and I encourage anyone else on the fence to try them as well. They did not ask me to edit my review, but I'm glad to anyway as I'm genuinely happy with their response. Few companies would bother in similar situations, so I'm happy to support ones that do. Thank you!These peppers are wonderful. Great quality, still nice and supple with fantastic flavor. However, there are living worms in some. This little fella crawled out of the bag as I was deseeding. Amazon has been little help in contacting the company so I tried using social media before leaving a review, but have had no luck in getting a response.

This is a great collection of dried chilis. All taste good, high quality. Highly recommend!

Excellent quality product. Nice leathery texture, and great taste

For those who have not dove into the relm of making real homemade, not to mention excellent food, this is the set to get you started and far cheaper than purchasing individually. All chiles have proven excellent with no issues, though always wash them first. The Mexican Oregano is excellent as well, and not the large leaf with stems other reviews have stated. Very clean and taste excellent. I will stay with RICO RICO for all my replacement needs and have made barilla tacos, tamales, fajitas, mexican rice, red sauce and so much more with this. It has moved me to restaurant quality, or even better Mexican food of southern states which is saying something. I now live in the NW, which forced my hand as good Mexican food here is non existent. Again, remember to wash the chiles and I steep for 30 minutes by removing boiling water from heat and covering chiles, then discarding liquid and using the chiles.

All the chiles are extremely fresh and look beautiful like they were packed yesterday. Bright vibrant colors and pliable. Such a variety! Very exciting.

These peppers arrived in excellent condition. No bugs, fully dried yet pliable. I did immediately put them into spice storage with O2 absorbers.very satisfied with my product.

The media could not be loaded. I was kind of scared to purchase product thinking it was not as good as the store wow was i wrong it is way better!!!! The freshness of the chiles also how well they are packed, they all come in a big air tight bag and each chiles come in another air zip baggy . I also love that I get 6 diffrent kinds of chiles . I can make pipian birria enchiladas carne con chile colorado . 😋 Purchase you wont be sorry!! I bought 2 big bags and i am going to purchase some more to have on hand . You also get a good amount of chiles and no bugs here ! I think it is very likely if you open a bag and leave it there siting for 1 year lol of course you will find bugs,just like any other food that goes bad it is only natural . So with this said my friend buy your self these chiles and go cook you some authentic deliciosos chilaquiles !!
