These are nice. I'm neutral on the brand, it's a local company but these are made overseas. But I figured QC might be a bit better than a no-name, and these have a reference 1" standard which is nice. It's a nice compliment to my 0-1". Fit and finish good, case nice, friction sleeve works fine, anvils polished to a nice finish.

It works, and the price is more acceptable than some brands. The case, tips, standard, and adjusting tool were included as advertised.I came within minutes of sending it back, because there was so much friction on the spindle that it would not turn without slipping the ratchet. I fixed this by adjusting the tightening nut on the spindle threads; expensive brands usually do this before shipment. Once it was adjusted, it worked nicely.The screws holding down the finger grips were a little loose, so the grips rattled, but this was another easy fix.I looked carefully, but I did not find a country of origin declaration on the package or the body. I thought that this was required by law, but I must be mistaken.There are no directions, but if you ordered one of these, then you probably already know how to use it.The lettering on the tips giving the size range is small and the etching is faint. This is probably inevitable on objects this small. I am going to make a sticker with the sizes written on it to put next to the pockets in the case. Perhaps the seller could provide one in the package.

Needed for checking thread pitch worked as it should quality is decent it will last doesn't get used everyday the accuracy is in range no issues there

The tool worked well and you can't beat the price !

37 year machinist.I was a bit skeptical of this as an import item, but was very happy with the accuracy. Didn't go with the higher quality units as it's a one time job. Double checked with my Mitutoyo optical comparator...yes also an import, but you get the idea of the quality. The readings were spot on.

For the price this has been a very good tool, been using it non stop for the past couple of months with no problems.

Good quality (but not Mitutoyo, neither is the price)I was able to verify what I'd long suspected: my old Craftsman taps are WAY oversize - the 1/2-20 is 0.003 over maximum.Update Sept 7: the larger anvil sets have a 60 degree cone and a 60 degree 'V', and an accurate zero can be taken by closing the mic all the way. When measuring a screw or tap, the 'V' contacts the peak of the thread, and the cone contacts the valley on the opposite side.The two smallest anvil sets do not have a 'V', but instead have a 60 degree ridge. This makes accurate measurement of threads finer than 24TPI impossible. I was nevertheless able to determine that my Craftsman 10-32 tap is about .002 larger than my other 10-32, and use the other for a better thread fit.

Works well. You need a thread pitch chart to use. Machinist hand book.

Good Quality Thread Micrometer in a proper case. I purchased this for occasional use. I'm not a fan of off brand measuring tools, but I am satisfied and product was as expected.
