SafaviehAntiquity Collection 6' x 9' Brown / Beige AT822B Handmade Traditional Oriental Premium Wool Area Rug

Great rug for price. Wasn't expecting this rug to compare to Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware area rugs in my home. Almost same thickness and almost as plush/soft but for $344 instead of $1200-1500. Colors are beautiful. No weird birds or crazy designs. Simple florals and leaves. So much better than Amazon online photo. Unrolls and lays flat immediately too.

Ordered the 12' x 15' Oriental grey blue and beige colored rug, and it is exactly as pictured here in the Amazon site. Not sure why others are saying it's more green or more blue, unless it's the lighting in their room? I've attached 2 pictures, one in natural day light, and the other with incandescent overhead lighting, which does give a slight difference in the color shades. I've ordered a few Safavieh rugs in the past, and this one included, I've never been disappointed with the quality of the rug for the price. The rug came folded first, then rolled, because of the size I presume, and it layed down perfectly without a wrinkle. It did take 2 vacuumings to get the loose fibers off of it. Love this rug!

I have had this rug for almost 1 year now. I love the color. It's true to the picture. It folded out well and layed flat. It does shed but I believe most wool rugs do. After I received the rug I noticed there were a lot of pulls. More then I expected. I trimmed many of them and it looked better. After several months the shedding subsides if you vacuum a lot. Which I do with kids!What has prompted me to right this review a year later is over time more and more pulls show up making the rug look thin. Also if you clean a spot up the spot discolors and even more pulls show up. This is light cleaning too.If you have kids, pets or a messy husband you might want to think about whether you will have to clean this rug or not. It will come with pulls on it and expect to get more.

These rugs are horrible. Shedding is not a good enough word for what these rugs do, my kids could have secured the material to the backing better than these imported rugs. I ordered 2 of these intending to put both in my kitchen in close proximity to each other but they did not match. Amazon sent 1 replacement that would hopefully match 1 of 2 rugs I had previously received and it wasn’t even the same color at all. Amazon made me use my tape to roll these rugs back up and ship them back. Getting my money refunded and trying to explain that I can not easily just roll these up and ship them back has been impossible to explain to customer service. 10 years as a prime member and I had to request a supervisor in order to get my money back. Very frustrating and super disappointed about these rugs and my first 2 experiences with Amazon customer service.

This rug is incredible. Let me start off by saying I am a price shopper. I wanted a decent quality wool rug for our family room that I have just redecorated, and I couldn't find anything the size that I needed (large) for less than $3000. I found this and after reading the reviews and looking at the pictures posted by reviewers, I decided to take a chance (which I don't normally do with stuff this big that I can't see in person). Let me also say that I found almost this exact same rug at another online rug dealer selling for $3200! I couldn't believe the difference in price. I was bracing myself for a slight disappointment given the huge savings I was getting by ordering this one, and when it came I was overjoyed to discover that I liked this one better than any I had seen elsewhere! This rug is HEAVY!!! My husband and I could barely carry it inside (I ordered the 9 x 11) with just the two of us! We unrolled it and were just amazed at how beautiful it is, and how thick and lush and comfortable it is under our feet. It is truly perfect for a family room. YES, it sheds a lot just like every rug for the first few weeks, but has already slowed significantly. We are all in love with this rug and to date it is one of our favorite Amazon purchases!!!

I purchased this rug for a room in my home that I was making into an office. I'm attaching a picture of the unfinished room. The rug was a beautiful contrast to my hardwoods and I love the aqua blue-green and hint of brick red in the pattern. Very neutral in the sense that it's not contemporary or too traditional. The rug is wool and does pill quite a lot and requires frequent vacuuming but it wasn't a problem as I vacuum frequently anyway. If you like these Pottery Barn looking colors without the Pottery Barn price; this might be a good option for you too.

I ordered this hall runner. My issue isn't with the quality of the rug...it is beautiful. However the color is not only different than the text description but different than the photos included in the ad. The rug is described as beige and brown but is definitely grey tones with a touch of red in the flowers. Here is the reason for the one star. It isn't eligible for return. There is nothing in the description anywhere that indicates it isn't returnable and I can't find an Amazon phone number or digital realtime contact to have a conversation with. SSSoooo disappointed.

Best bargain I've found in years. I consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable about rugs and there was a time that I would not have bought something that had a cover over the knots in the back, but times change and so I purchased this 100% wool 8x10 crossing my fingers that it would be ok. Well, I live it! The quality of this rug for $3xx is amazing. I have bought pottery barn for $1300 and it wasn't this nice. I have bought from fancy rug stores for $1700 in 2003 and it wasn't this nice. And more recently I ordered from NY for $800, all 8 x10, and it wasn't as thick and beautifully detailed a pattern. All I can say is that I feel so fortunate to have trusted savanna and tried it. The color is muted and lovely. Looks exceptional with the SW Grecian Ivory walls we just finished painting. Love the suggestion of burnt reddish tone and pale blue/grey background plus the overall restful mood of this classic. Sending my friends to check this out. Feeling lucky I turned down the $800 rug the furniture store was offering. Thank you Amazon!

arrived as scheduled. Product exactly as expected. One small concern is that the rug shed quite a bit once unrolled....

It is a beautiful runner. Perfect. Higher quality than I was expecting. Very pleased. It looks exactly as it did on line.
