Alex Frith is a British children’s author, best known for his Mr. Men and Little Miss series of books. He has also written a number of activity, craft, and game books for children. Frith began his career as a cartoonist, before moving into writing children’s books. His first book, Mr. Tickle, was published in 1971. Since then, he has written over 80 books, including such well-known titles as Mr. Greedy, Little Miss Sunshine, and Mr. Bump. Frith’s books are known for their simple stories and colorful illustrations. They are popular with both children and adults, and have been translated into numerous languages. In addition to his writing work, Frith also runs a small publishing company, called Eden Publishing. Eden Publishing specializes in activity and craft books for children. Frith’s books have been very successful, both in the UK and internationally. In 2006, he was awarded an OBE (Order of the British Empire) for his services to literature.
