Hosco is a brand of musical instruments and gear accessories. Hosco was founded in 1972 by John Connors. John Connors got his first job as a musical instrument designer for Gibson, but had to leave after his boss said he was too much of a perfectionist. He then started his own company and created the first instrument that would later be the backbone of the company. The first product under the Hosco brand was a single pickup guitar called the H-3B. The H-3B has been used by many famous musicians including Johnny Cash and Joe Bonamassa. He also created a guitar with four pickups called the H-4B, which is still used today. The company has also developed five other electric guitar models that are still being used today. Hosco has also developed five acoustic guitars, ten bass guitars and five acoustic bass guitars.
