Magic Plant is a company that makes herbs, spices, and seasonings. These three categories are made to improve the quality of food. Their company was started in 1990 by Raymond A. DeRosa who is now retired and has passed on the company to his son, Raymond A. Jr. The company has expanded over the years and now has three locations in the city of Philadelphia: Northeast, Southwest, and Northwest. They make products like basil pesto and pumpkin pie spice in their Northeast location which is in the Olney section of Philadelphia; they make saffron and rosewater in their Southwest location which is in the Logan section of Philadelphia; and cinnamon sticks, cloves, nutmeg, and pepper in their Northwest location which is in the East Falls section of Philadelphia. Magic Plant also makes their single herbs and spices such as rosemary, thyme, sage, oregano, mint, coriander, parsley, and cumin.
