Scigrip, a multinational company that has been around since 1880, is a large producer of industrial and scientific adhesives which are their main products. They also produce a variety of sealants and lubricants for a diverse range of uses. Scigrip was founded by August Schlenker in 1880 in Berlin, Germany. It was first called Gesellschaft für Chemische Industrie. The company began to produce industrial and scientific adhesives in 1936. Their first adhesive was named "Scigrip Adhesive." The company now produces more than 40 different industrial and scientific adhesives, sealants, and lubricants for industrial use. They also produce various other products like chemicals, pigments, dyes, polymers, resins, latexes, paints, varnishes, coatings, paper coatings, plastics, elastomers, fibres and fibers, sports equipment and more. Scigrip has expanded into many countries around the world. They started out in Russia but now have locations around the globe including China, Germany, Italy, France, Mexico, Spain and the United States.
