Vrs Design is a Swedish company that produces mobile phones and communication accessories. The company was founded in 1989 by two friends, Magnus Johansson and Samuel Westin, who had the idea of designing and manufacturing the world's first cellular phone. Vrs Design's first product was a cellular phone that they called "The Cell". It was capable of making calls, sending text messages, playing music, and displaying images on its screen. In 1997, Vrs Design released their first phone with a color screen called the "Wap-Cell". In order to produce more colors on their screens, Vrs Design developed a new technology called "Wysiwyg" which stands for "what you see is what you get". In 2003, Vrs Design released a new phone which they called "The Wall". The Wall was a flip phone with a very large screen. In 2009, Vrs Design came out with the "Wap-Wall" which was a combination of both flip and touch screens. In 2010, Vrs Design released their first TFT-LCD phone called the "Wall" which was made of glass and metal. In 2012, Vrs Design released their first phone with a curved display called the "Wall Curve".
