Good controls for the price

The instructions weren't quite accurate as a few have said here but if you know what you're doing and have a multi-meter, it's easy to figure out. For the money, the controls look good, are very functional and hopefully will last a long time.

Not waterproof! No wiring diagram! Shoddy construction! You need holes in your handlebars!?!?

Do not buy! While seeming to be a good deal, save yourself the headache (either short or long term) and spend money on a higher quality product w/ at least a pinout description!Waterproof??? - my arse! You can see right into the internals of the switch housing while looking at the turn signal switch (see photo) on the left side switch, and the on/off/park switch on the right side. The handlebar hole diameters aren't even the same so when the two halves of the housing are mated, there is a small ledge (see photo). So *that's* not going to sit snugly around the handlebar (let alone, no gasketing). All those metal switch parts inside are going to get soaked in the first rain shower! Maybe that's not a concern if you're a fair-weather rider only, but I ride rain or shine, and the item description claims it's waterproof. Man, they'll say just about anything won't they. Or they just copied and pasted the description from some other switch that is actually waterproof.Wiring diagram??? PSHHHtbh who needs one??? Yeah mine didn't come with one. Which is probably just as well, because I didn't intend to use it, based on all the other reviews. Maybe they stopped bothering to include it.What's this about needing a hole in the handlebar? To be fair, that's listed as the first bullet in the item description. I still bought it, thinking that was something I could work with (like a set screw). Still though, silliness. I am *not* drilling a hole in my handlebars to accommodate this cheap a$$ switch. What happens if I ride for a while and decide I want to adjust the position of the handlebars for ergonomics??? I either have to drill another hole in my handlebars or leave the switches in an awkward position! Silliness. Really, how hard would it be to replace that pin with a set screw and small rubber friction plate to prevent the assembly from sliding/rotating? I briefly considered modifying both switches to do it myself, but then considered it just wasn't worth the effort given the other quality issues.

Good but could be better

Reason I'm giving it a 4 star is because it truly needs a wiring diagram. The quality is solid and you can make them work if you have electrical know how but if you don't know as the consumer you've spent money not only on the product but also now on someone installing it and that's not cool. I understand it not being plug and play which is fine but atleast tell us which wires go where so US as the consumer and wiring it accordingly with ease vs. testing every single wire to make sure you know what it does so you don't fry it. Overall good product just a pain in the butt without a wiring diagram.

Switches feel good.

I am wiring a bike that previously did not have any switches or wiring on it. It will take a little while. I am still gathering parts. These switches will fit the bill nicely.

The wiring diagram was wrong!!!

Let me start by saying, these things look and feel great. Everything has a very nice firm on/off feel which I love. However, when you clamp them down on the bars, the two half's of each thing come nowhere near touching each other before the tightness of the screws start warping the plastic and causing an opening for water and all kinds of crap to get in there. Then the worst part. I spent 2 days trying to figure out what was wrong with my bike and why the starter button wasn't doing anything. Turns out the wire that they said in their diagram went to the starter button, actually went to the front brake switch! I've got a bunch of stuff backwards on the other side too so who knows what I'll find miss-labled on the left hand side of it. All in all, these things are just meh. If you take your time with the wiring and have a way around the two halves issue, these will be great. Also, there's no throttle tube and cable housing in these. You'll have to get a separate unit for that.
