Even though it's multiple pieces of of the box it forms into a nice and durable headboard

I am very happy with this item, especially given the price. However, for the price they should include the mounting bolts.The large section in the center, where you're pillows probably align, is just a veneer you tack on with some nails. One review said all you need is a screwdriver to build this; that is incorrect, you'll need a hammer.The pieces are not labeled, so you need to pay close attention to the diagrams. One thing to be aware of is that the holes depicted may not be present. Well, they are but the film covers them. Just run your fingernail in the area to uncover them.My shipping box arrived damaged; however, it was packed well and no damage to the contents. However, there were various small chips and scratches not associated with the damaged box, so I'm assuming this may be a common issue. I bought the ebony version, so those scratches are pretty obvious but I'll use a wood pen to fix.Since it didn't come with any frame mounting kit, it is just propped up against the wall for now. This would have been a 5-star review if they'd included that. The cost is trivial to them; however, extremely inconvenient to those who purchase this item.Overall, as I said, I'm very happy with this. I haven't looked yet; however, if they sell matching nightstands I'd definitely purchase them as well.Finally, for the price alone, I'd definitely recommend this product.

First off let me say wow, this thing was heavy. The wood is solid and sturdy. We have a king bed so that's probably why it was so so heavy. I love the elegant wood grain design. Building was super easy. I'm a 5'4 little woman. I was able to bring it through my door, build it and prop it up in our room so my husband can attach it to the bed frame. Attaching to the bed frame with this huge heavy monster of a headboard is NOT a one person job but everything else is easily 1 person. You have to have the bed frame mounting screws already, this frame doesn't come with it. But we do so idc. For 100 bucks, I'd say I hit the jackpot with this headboard. It looks luxury, definitely has the weight and feel of luxury and it matches our wood grain top side tables.

I recently purchased this furniture item, and I must say I’m extremely disappointed. The material feels cheap—definitely not what I expected based on the product description and photos. It’s flimsy. To make matters worse, I wanted to return it, but the return shipping cost was more than the price of the item itself! This vendor’s return policy, where the buyer must cover the entire return shipping cost, feels completely wrong since it is a furniture item. Save your money and invest in something more durable from a vendor or company with a better return policy. If you receive a damaged item, as other reviewers have mentioned, or if it doesn’t meet your expectations and you don’t want to keep it, expect to pay enormous return shipping costs or be stuck with it. Just be aware—it cost me dearly with nothing to show for it after the heavy monetary loss from return shipping costs that far exceeded the original price of the item.

Looks nice, fairly easy to put together as long as you’re used to assembling stuff like this. Pieces are not labeled, instructions are just pictures, so it is important to look at where the holes are on the pieces to ensure that you have them properly laid out, especially the middle piece on the headboard! The very top piece is not very secure, so I did have to glue it down, didn’t want it falling off during the night if my dog’s tail hit it. Hardware to secure to the bed frame is not included, but it does specify that, so I ordered it when I ordered the headboard. I did use a power screwdriver to assemble and it cut my assemble time in half.

Overall it is a decent headboard. However additional hardware had to be bought to secure the cap to the frame. As it just sits on it. Also for the price, if I had spent a little more I would have just bought a new frame. This headboard was way to difficult to add to an existing metal frame. It will have to anchored to the frame to keep it from leaning back.Pros- nice clean look, assembly for the most part.Cons-Hardware to secure the cap, cumbersome to install to existing frames.

When I say that, I ordered this because of the looks and the price. Then I read some of the reviews. Here are my thoughts, and I'll start with the obvious.1. It appears that reviews from other products are mixed in with this product, so be mindful: that review you read may not be for this product. Hopefully that gets fixed.2. I was able to assemble this by myself in around 30-40 minutes, with around 5 minutes used to read the manual and make sure I had all of the parts.3. There are holes half-way drilled on the rear of the legs, and the instructions tell you this and informs you to finish drilling through the holes that you need. This is great for those who want to wall mount the headboard.4. Use the box, flattened out, to assemble the headboard in. Many people complain about the headboard being easy to scratch, but if you take care on making sure you assemble on the box, which it even shows in the instructions to do, then you minimize the chances of scratching the headboard.5. Maybe the manufacturer has read the reviews about shipping damage. My headboard was packed with expandable foam around three sides, and I'm sure that helped with minimizing damage due to shipping. There was no damage on my headboard.Bonus: Wipe it down after assembly...but maybe that's too obvious.
