Great quality, waterproof, durable
Excellent - used on a 3,000 mile trip Michigan to Honduras. I was a little unsure of the strap mounts so added some ratching straps over the bag. Everything remained dry, no leaks or tears

Worked fine. Support was responsive.
Used to expand on what my KIA Soul could carry. It added 10 cubic feet. The video showed me how to install without having a roof rack. Trip was around 275 miles each way. There was no rain during either direction. Once you’ve tightened the straps down make sure to tie a knot with the excess strap near the buckle. Rightline support said I could have gone with a 15 cubic foot product or a ten. But when I specified my car and model with Amazon it overrode my preference and insisted the 15 was not right for my vehicle. Well built. I used a car roof protector upon which to place the product. I also used something similar to keep contents from shifting. I had some foam pool tubes along so I placed one in the front to keep box corners from poking against the front. But this was only a precaution based on prior experience. Again this is made of durable product and. Of a good design. Due to unfamiliarity it took me 3 times as long to install on the trip out than for the return trip.

CA to MD! Worked perfectly on a 2-dr coupe
Just traveled from LA to MD. This thing went through high-winds and rain with no problems. The weatherproofing worked great (I stored clothes in the carrier using vacuum sealed bags, which I’d recommend as a precaution, but the bags stayed dry regardless.) Straps were sturdy and secure with just short of 100 lbs of storage. Get the slip mat for peace of mind, but be sure to cut it to size, as the flapping noise can be stressful. A couple of quick helpful pieces of info that helped me a LOT:-The space between the front and rear straps is just under 18”, so the spacing fit perfects on the same door of my ‘18 civic coupe (yes, fits 2 dr with no modification)-The bag is 15” tall with even & proper spacing, but larger items can still fit, since the carrier isn’t a solid shape.-100lbs was fine and the straps didn’t loosen on our trip: tie the extra strapping into knots for added safety, comfort and to prevent flapping noise while driving-It already says this on their website: The zipper goes around 3 sides, with the two zippers connecting in the middle. Mount the carrier with the zippers meeting in the back, as the continuous material being on the front will prevent any rain (or bugs, etc. in our case) from getting into your carrier. Again, weatherproofing was excellent.A great purchase. Dependable, sturdy design, and quality straps. Would recommend to anyone!

Worked well for what we needed
I have a small car so when we wanted to head to the beach a few days it didn’t take much to fill the trunk leaving a big pile of items that were not going to fit. We got everything in this carrier but the straps that came with it made for a very noisy trip down. And the entire thing shifted backwards on the roof leaving some scratches. For the trip home I bought some basic ratchet straps and used them to hold it down better and went all the way inside the car to secure it. The door seals were not compromised this way and it wasn’t near as noisy. We never got rained on so not sure about waterproof but the original straps did cause a friction hole in the side which would have leaked. I kept it for future use as it did serve it’s purpose.

Proved itself
Have used this bag over a couple of years on camping trips. Held up well and worked well for us. Easy to fold unfold zip and unzip. Easily attaches to the roof rack. No downsides I can think of.

Reliable and Weatherproof Rooftop Luggage Carrier
I recently embarked on a 2900-mile trip with the rooftop luggage carrier, and it exceeded my expectations. The zipper closure proved to be weatherproof, keeping my belongings safe and dry even during unexpected rain. The user-friendly design made installation a breeze, and the clear instructions ensured a hassle-free setup. What impressed me most was its performance in adverse weather conditions – it worked like a charm in the rain, maintaining its waterproof seal. After the long journey, the rooftop carrier still looks as good as new, a testament to its durability. I highly recommend the carrier for its reliability, ease of use, and impressive weather resistance. It truly made my road trip worry-free.

A good value with quality issues
Overall, I like the design and construction. It comes at a great price. But after only a few trips all of the Velcro strips that secure a lip of material over the zipper for added rain protection have come loose. Not just one or two — ALL of them. Makes me worry that something else could unexpectedly go wrong.

Absolutely perfect!
I was worried about using this carrier because I'd never used one before and there were some poor reviews, but I'm so glad I bought it! It turned out to be a lifesaver. It's incredibly sturdy, so much so that I had difficulty unfolding it out of the box. The material is thick and a bit stiff at first use.The carrier isn't heavy at all but it took a bit of muscling to get it packed because the material is stiff. I was able to load/unload the carrier on top of my car by myself using a stepladder. The straps and attachments were strong and the directions were easy to follow. I double knotted the straps and checked them when I stopped for gas, no issues with loosening or slipping. The first trip I made with the carrier was 600 miles with sunny, slightly windy weather. The carrier didn't impact my speed or gas mileage much. The second trip, 300 miles, was in pouring rain. No leaks, everything was perfectly dry! This carrier was a great buy, I'm so glad I got it! It made my move a lot less stressful.
