I bought this fabric to make a canopy/curtains for my bedroom. The fabric is not entirely opaque when backlit, but not thin or sheer. It is not very soft, but sturdy and has a slight sheen to it. The long edges were mostly even with no fraying, which worked great to allow me not to hem it for my project. I did hand-hem the cut ends, which was easy to do. It seemed I got a bit more than 10 yards, maybe an extra 2-4 yards, which I have used for some tie dying samples and it took the dye well. I would recommend this for any project, especially at this price!

Very rough to touch and so thin it’s almost sheer
I got my fabric and it’s very rough in texture it feels like a paper bag!!! I bought ivory color and it’s very thin almost sheer. The quality is very poor!!!!
