I loveee this vacuum! I have two big dogs that shed lots of hair and my carpet is full of it always and I needed a really strong vacuum to help with this. I searched and reviewed multiple brands and types and decided to go with this one. It is very strong and powerful on the carpet. It also has a hardwood floor setting which is awesome for my kitchen. It’s super easy to use and cleans my carpet so well. This vacuum is also pretty quiet. My daughter slept right through it. It’s definitely worth the money and I would recommend this brand to Everyone.

I’m editing my review after reading the one star reviews just to be clear about some things for people who read my five star review. I do not have children or pets and I make sure not to have paper , coins or any objects that might get clogged in the hose or under brush picked up before I vacuum. I have shorter hair and so long hairs winding around the roller isn’t an issue . I vacuum at least once a week so I don’t have a build up of dust & the pile on my carpet is not high at all. My experience with customer service was fantastic but it concerns me reading all the negative feedback that others had about different parts needing replacement than I needed , maybe down the road the same thing may happen to me and so I don’t want to steer anyone wrong. Also many of those one star reviewers sound like they really know their vacuums & I don’t as they do . I am fine with this one as you will read below . ….if it changes I will update .This is a great vacuum , I’ve had it for almost a year & have had no issues with it , I am happy with it completely. It has a lot of power & works now just as powerfully as it did when I first got it ! The reason I felt the need to review at this later date is because of my experience with customer support . First I’ll say this model is substantial yet lightweight and the blue one is very cute , I like it aesthetically which doesn’t really matter but still it’s nice to have a cute vacuum. It was easy to assemble, the parts fit strongly and securely together it’s not cheaply made though the levers are plastic . I vacuum very often & often after having baking soda sprinkled on my rug overnight & my last vacuum didn’t pick up the baking soda properly at all , I see a massive difference with this shark vacuum . If you’re used to one of the top of the line many hundreds of dollars vacuums I can’t say in comparison but this has a lot of power to it and I love how I can break it down to a smaller unit to get higher areas or hard to reach spots it’s very cleverly made ,the base swivels , it’s lightweight and it works wonderfully . The reason I’m writing this review now almost a year later is because today like many other times the dust bucket fell on its face while I was using the extension hose , no issue before just oops and picked it back up , but today the little plastic thing that keeps the top of the bucket secured broke off . If I had thought a few minutes I’d have duct taped it back on & used it like that since it’s not a crucial latch, necessary for holding it & emptying from the top along with the bottom but taping it would have been a good enough solution for my usage. I decided to call customer support and see what they had to say about it . I didn’t realize this vacuum has a 5 year warranty , the woman I spoke to got me registered for my warranty , we did a video call of the vacuum so she could see what was wrong and verify the validity of my claim I suppose and then despite my realizing during the call that I could just tape it up she insisted on sending me a new bucket free of charge and also waived shipping as well. She said she didn’t want me using their product duct taped up because it would not reflect them well & she wanted me to be completely happy with their product. It’s nice to know that if it is a bigger issue or if it “expires “ as she put it ,they cover their products fully and in my experience happily and that’s great to know. 5 years is a generous warranty & one that speaks to their confidence in their products .I recommend this company for sure if you’re looking for a vacuum , and this model is an excellent choice if you don’t want or need an extremely expensive vacuum but do want one that works powerfully and efficiently . It’s comforting to know that if anything else goes wrong in the next four years, the customer support and warranty are so generous.

I purchased this shark upright after my old shark upright finally gave up after a decade. The only difference with this one is it did not come with the 5-ft hose that it was supposed to come with (fortunately I saved the one for my prior vacuum) and it does not have a light while vacuuming. However, it does lift away from the whole base in which my other did not. Which is very convenient when vacuuming the stairs instead of having the vacuum portion that makes it weigh a ton compared to my prior model definitely makes the difference and it makes navigating the staircase much easier. Overall, I am very satisfied with this vacuum. It is very comparable to my previous shark model and I hope it has just as much longevity as long as I maintain it like I did my prior shark vacuum. Has a great suction. I do notice that it is definitely a heavier push on the carpet, but it works really well. Being able to remove that base is a game changer. I do recommend this vacuum. Just be sure that it comes with all the parts. Also, I do enjoy that the universal filters and extra accessories are very cheap and easily replaceable when needing a new filter, etc.

We bought this three months ago, primarily on the advice of the New York Times' Wirecutter, which has recommended the Shark NV352 to its readers for the past 10 years. I waited three months, using the vacuum usually twice a week, before writing this review.Simply put, this is an outstanding machine for less than $200. A few months after we got our golden retriever puppy in summer 2022, clumps of hair started showing up on our hardwoods and collecting in not-so-tidy little piles, We got a backpack style vacuum that does great on our hardwoods but can't begin to work dog hair and other debris out of rug in the great room.Enter the Shark NV352. The difference is the amount of suction this baby generates. It does the trick on our hardwoods, our biggest rug and some smaller ruggables and mats. I usually turn down the suction (conveniently located) when I vacuum the smaller ruggables so they don't bunch.Besides being powerful, this vacuum is light (I can lift it with a single finger), easy to maneuver and almost fun to use. It's simple to separate the vacuum from its brushroll so you can use the crevice attachment in more hard-to-reach spots. When not in use, we stash our Shark in there hallway coat closet for easy access.Since an honest review should consider what might not be so great, I will mention two items:1) Emptying the canister is messy and something not to do inside your house. I use that waste basket in the garage. Some of the hair from the above-mentioned golden retriever gets stuck and has to be dislodged. I also give the canister a gentle wipe with a semi-damp paper towel before simple reassembly.2) The power cord isn't that long. I have to plug and unplug four times to reach everywhere in our singe-story home. I know nothing about electrical matters, so I wonder if there is some restriction on cord length because of the electricity needed for such powerful suction. If not, another 10 feet of cord would be nice.Aside from those two minor points, I have nothing but praise for the Shark NV352.In fact, I haven't used our backpack vacuum since the Shark was delivered less than 24 hours after I ordered it.
