Top quality, (Kohler there is none better) This tub was delivered right on time and is beautiful. The delivery guy and myself brought in inside. They schedule the delivery for these heavy items. I broke up a 50 year old cast iron that had been scratched and I couldn't polish the scratches out. I totally ripped out the bathroom and had plumber and electrician redo the whole room with PVC drain pipes and a kickspace heater. I put down 1/4" cement board on the whole floor and then put the tub in on top of the hardiboard. The tub has little legs which sat nice and level. It is beautiful.Be advised it is heavy. maybe 340 lbs,It is a little higher than most tubs at 14 inches. and the shoulders are wider too, which is why i got this one.The overflow side sticks out a little more out into the tub hence you may want a longer spout. I used the Toto 7" spout and needed a longer shower arm also.. Heavy brass and connected a little different. Similar to Grohe but i think i like the Toto better. heavier brass and Toto has 7 inch reach. The toto has a better divertor using "O" rings.Toto: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007FWL140/ref=sr_ph?ie=UTF8&qid=1415453933&sr=1&keywords=spout+totoGrohe Spout: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002VFNWFM/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=7NC7E4SYCZS1&coliid=IZNKNMHHQ9JTL&psc=1One can use this one also as it is 7" spout, and the standard slip on so you won't have to do any soldering.Cheaper Spout: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00838JYA8/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1The shower arm needs to be a little longer due to the slanted front of the tub. I order the Lasco 10" reach which was perfect. Extended Shower Arm: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HYWB8KS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1I used a standard Trip lever drain and overflow .. ( the toe tap and the lift and turn get clogged too often the trip lever has a little grate preventing hair from clogging them) I was wary of the new cable controlled drains as they haven't been out too long and was concerned about plastic construction.I just bought the trip lever from Menards and my plumber had to cut the pipe a little to make it fit. The slanted front of the tub necessitated two of the overflow gaskets to be placed to prevent leakage around the overflow.Trip Lever Drain: http://www.amazon.com/Moen-90410-Shower-Drain-Chrome/dp/B00002ND0Z/ref=sr_1_6?s=kitchen-bath&ie=UTF8&qid=1415454167&sr=1-6&keywords=tub+drain+and+overflow+trip+leverFor the rough in shower valve i bought the Delta R10000unws. and used the Dryden trim. Haven't hooked it up yet but it looks great in the box.Delta Dryden Temp Balanced Shower Valve: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001KBINY8/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=7NC7E4SYCZS1&coliid=I28C33AR7Q8XNE&psc=1I think this tub has a little wider shoulders so that you can set bottles etc on it however I'm toying around with a "Niche" for the wall but i am worried that it would catch dirt.Niche for shower: http://www.amazon.com/Swanstone-AS-1075-010-Recessed-Accessory-Finish/dp/B000NIFBKS/ref=pd_bxgy_hi_text_y

Item not accepted
We did not accept the bathtub, the dimensions were not as advertised... it should have been fifteen and a half inches deep but were 11 inches deep.

Great Tub - Terrible Drain Angle
Tub looks great, shipped fast and in great packaging with dispatch being very considerate in scheduling it. My only qualm is the drain angle requiring the very expensive Kohler proprietary drain. The reviewer Tex above said his plumber made it work, but most plumbers in are too lazy to even try so they will force you to get the expensive drain to save them the extra gasket although the Moen drain is clearly superior in quality and finish to the Kohler one. Would be nice if Tex showed a picture of how he got it to work on his.

BEAUTIFUL!
I am very happy with this tub. It is gogreous! I should have looked at the weight of it however. When it was delivered it was left out in the front yard with no one home. My husband and a friend found out it was 400 pounds!

Got a bad tub--tub was installed 2 years ago
Got a bad tub--tub was installed 2 years ago .Just noticed a few pin holes in the porcelain..I called Kohler and they sent a local representative. The local representative said the tub had lots more of the pin holes and repairing the 1 or 2 now wouldn't help. Kohler said they would replace the tub but only authorize it for 3 months..I think this is really crappy for a company like Kohler who sells a tub with a lifetime warrenty and doesn't pay any removal or reinstall fees. I wouldn't recommend any Kohler products --their Quality has really gone down to the dumps and their warrenty sucks!
