This is a quality product, large tanks, motor and a solid thick base. A quality high pressure hose , two hose to connect to the pool an associated pvc fittings and stainless steel clamps. I sent back one of those over 14in with the electronic control - it was a toy stay away. This pump/ filter can't be beat for the price. I seen plenty pumps and this is equivalent to the more expensive pumps sold by the pool stores. You will not be disappointed. For a hundred bucks more than the cheaper version it will be money well spent.

Excellent filter! Easy to install, easy to operate. I installed this on my 5200 gal above ground pool. It's rates for much higher so it keeps my pool crystal clear. I hard-piped mine with multiple shut-off valves and I added a water fountain feature. I can't be any happier with this sand filter system.*Update*I purchased this sand filter & 3/4 hp pump 4 years ago (Apr ‘21) and I just had to replace my pump this past weekend (only because it was making a very loud noise- it was still running)! I have had no issues whatsoever. Still love this sand filter!

Its a great product just will not work on pool or POND. no suction . with a different pump this would be a pond owners dream. a different pump and a wonderful product. so i have approval to return but not the postage. How do we get postage paid. with a discount I can purchase a new pump for the unit.thank you John

Bought this filter set to hopefully improve the water condition of our pool. It definitely did that!!The pump that was sent with our pool package was on paper large enough but didn’t cut the mustard.This pump/filter works great!

After last bad review they finally made it right. Now one year later it is broken again. This time the pump is locked up.Again got all the chemicals purchased. Had everything clear and running as it should. Two weeks in and it completely locks up. This product is absolute junk!Update as of 7/1/24 I am told it’s no longer under warranty after running less than two months. Because winter when it’s not running counts as your warranty. They offered a Huge 15% discount to buy their junk again. Customer service is as bad as product.

Great value for what it cost. I only needed the sand filter case as my old one was cracked. When I tried to purchase just that, it was well over $300. So by purchasing this model, I got my filter and I used the new valve assembly, I have a new pump assembly as a spare. When it came, it was in a huge box so I thought it was put together but it was not. I would buy this one again.

Reasonably easy to install. Powerful pump works great on our 18’ above ground pool. However the filter (brown part) doesnt attach well onto black stand. Snaps in but easily pops out. Would be much better design if it bolted on.

Has made the world of difference on my pool. The carbon filter pump that comes with a pool just doesn't cut it( I've owned 3 pools so I would know lol).....my pool was green and within 10 hrs of starting up this sand system my water was Crystal clear!! I've been running it since summer started and it's still working great!
