Amazing for the price
I absolutely love it! I have no regrets with it at all, and I would highly recommend this to someone looking for a new, powerful fan.Pros: even on highest setting, it's still super quiet and you get a beautiful breeze from it that you can actually feel. It's powerful enough to blow papers around :P It's super stylish and modern. Great for preventing dust build up. really easy to install, literally the longest part of this was screwing the blades onto the brackets. So it's super easy to install, and it doesn't move 1 bit on the highest setting, the only way it'll move is if you tilt it by hand.Cons: Bulbs are the only thing I don't like, they're the really tiny ones, but it's not a huge deal because if you don't like the soft white color, you can swap them out. One other thing I didn't like was the packaging, it's literally just the factory box with shipping stickers on it, and the UPS guy didn't even ring the bell or knock, he just left it on the steps and walked away, I'm glad my phone sent me a message saying it was delivered, so I'd recommend turning those on. Other than those two, I really can't think of anything else wrong with it, maybe the price? But honestly, It's SO worth it. I can't wait for summer to come now, I'll have no problem keeping cool now :)Really, this thing is flawless, and I'm being completely honest. If there was something wrong, I'd be the first to tell you. But it's amazing! The blades are reversible which is really nice :) I got the Nickle and Cherry one, and personally I think it looks the best, the other side of the blades is a brighter tint to the cherry more of a darker wood color, still really nice :) And like I said, I can't wait to try this out for the summer when it gets super hot inside, the long, wide blades will be perfect for providing excellent cooling :D If you're looking for a new fan, seriously, get this! You will not regret it at all :)

I've learned that Hunter is the best of the best
In my 23 years as a homeowner, I've learned that Hunter fans are the best of the best. This is a beautiful fan. The colors are rich and the fan was the look I was aiming for in my new home. The brushed nickel matched the color package for our home so this is the color we decided on. The fan is well made and does not wobble or make any noise when turned up to the highest setting.I ordered this fan through my Prime account because I love the free two day shipping and it keeps me from driving into the city to stand in line at the home improvement stores. The item arrived in itâs factory box exactly when expected. The box was in excellent condition and undamaged during the shipping process.I have installed ceiling fans in the past so I didnât read every word of the instructions. I just skimmed over the important items and began assembling the fan. This fan is being installed on an 11 foot trey ceiling so I purchased the 12" extension so the fan hung a little lower than the standard installation bar. The wiring included with the fan was enough to accommodate the extension.Prosâ Easy to Install- Quiet with plenty of air flow- Beautiful addition to my new homeCons- None

Very Impressive Ceiling Fan
This review is for the Hunter 'Builder Plus' 52-inch Ceiling Fan in Brushed Nickel, Model #53237, purchased along with a separate 12-inch brushed nickel Downrod. We were replacing a heavy 27-yr old gold finish 48-inch ceiling fan on a 20°-25° angled ceiling. If your angled ceiling pitch is greater than 34°, you have to purchase a separate Angled Mounting Kit.One of the first things that impressed me right out of the box (pun intended) is the DETAILED Installation Manual... probably the best one I've ever seen; Images drawn to scale, extremely well written in perfect English (which is rare) and very simple to follow. The fan weighs 18-20 pounds, much less than the beast it was replacing. The blades are made out of "composite wood." One side of each blade has a medium-tone woodgrain look, while the other side is a darker walnut-type look... so you have a choice as to what wood shade you'd like to see when you view your installed fan. EVERYTHING about the assembly was easy; not a single problem. The blades did not require any balancing. There was no wobbling, even when on high speed; though medium speed is the highest I use anyway... and the operation is excellent and super-quiet. This fan is a winner!

52" size works great in a small room, installation was slow and steady but no problems
Excellent so far. Installed it in a 10' x 11' room with 8' ceilings. Used the standard downrod and got the 7' recommended clearance for the fan blades. Replaced a 52" fan, so, I really wanted to go back with a 52" fan. So glad that I did not go with the "recommended" smaller size fan. Excellent air flow and the three candelabra bulbs were more than bright enough. In fact, swapped out the 60w for 40w that I had on hand. Will look for 40w-equivalent LED bulbs now. Overall, nice look, quiet, very secure mounting. Last note, supplied mounting bracket fits a 4" outlet box only - I have a 3" outlet box; but, no worries - I located the side of the outlet box where it mounted to the ceiling joist, then, mounted one end of the bracket to the outlet box using the existing screw, then, positioned the other end of the mounting bracket beneath the ceiling joist, and used the supplied wood screw. Since the mounting bracket is essentially 1" longer than the existing outlet box, it extends just about to the exact middle of the 2" x 6" ceiling joist. Probably more secure now than the original mounting. Of course, the supplied canopy piece is more than wide enough to cover the entire area. There are probably higher-end Hunter fans available that look just like this one, but, for about $100, this one is a good buy.
