EXCELLENT! Beautiful Arctic Finish is the Best!
Amazon excellent delivery on this large item--they delivered this on a pallet, wow! The box was beautiful and super clean like it just rolled out of the factory! The ARCTIC white color finish is super clean and bright and will make your bathroom look awesome. You will LOVE the ARCTIC finish on this quality bathtub, the Model # 2391202.011 (NOT the regular white that Lowe's sent me the wrong color 1, 2, 3 times! What a hassle with Lowe's and the boxes looked very old and beat up from Lowe's). You will not be disappointed with ordering your American Standard Princeton 30x60 ARCTIC bathtub from Amazon. They Rocked it!

Very pleased
What? Order a bathtub off of Amazon? Well, it certainly worked well for me. Faster than getting it locally, and fortunately it was not damaged on arrival. Instructions for cleaning is important to follow, as the typical harsh cleansers you're used to using can damage the finish. Manufacturer packaging was well done, protecting the bathtub. No flaws that I have seen, nor any shipping damage (shipping was rated separately, not here). The non-slip bottom is nicely done, but only time will tell if it wears off or gets dirty such that cleaning it is an issue, as also you don't just scrub the dirt off or you will also damage this gritty area. The builder scuffed one of the areas, but didn't destroy it - took the protective cardboard insert out of tub then stepped into it with his shoes on to fix one minor thing on the wall - duh. But anyway - not a manufacturer issue, is mine. The grit is not so harsh as to be a bother. But if you're planning on using it as a soaking tub, you might not want to slide your rear across the bottom - might be a tad uncomfortable. But I feel it is well done so small children won't slip as they play and splash around. I matched this American Standard bone bathtub with the Toto Bone toilet- they both work well next to each other. The bone has a yellowish hue, and I recommend you get a sample before buying if you are not sure what the color looks like.

Be careful it's different best buy acrylic instead
Product is made with a very thin layer of porcelain, took along time to arrive just to open it out of the box and see the the franfe that will be showing in the tub was missing porcelain and it showed the co.posit material and looks like it's because they put very thin layer of porcelain. . The only thing is that it is light weight to install. , also it has some co.posit built in water overflow drain with a fancy cover that if it gets ruined will be hard to find later to fix ,the picture shows the tub to be able to have a normal drain and overflow but that was not the case, so be careful, also the package stated that comes with a drain and it was missing, also the instructions show a normal drain installation but the tub has its own design totally different and in the future might be hard to find a replacement.I ended up returning it very expensive and waisted my time to do my bathroom to find out the tub was defective and not good.

Very good tub; solid and sturdy. Very good value.
We've remodeled two bathrooms using this tub, and it is a very good product, especially for the price. There are certainly higher quality/fancier tubs available, but if you are looking for a basic tub at a reasonable price, this has been a good one for us. We've had one for almost three years and it is holding up very well. Easy to clean and durable. This tub went into our fifth bathroom remodel (over several houses); this product is MUCH better than the fiberglass tubs with flimsy skirts and so much better for the DIYer than a cast iron tub. We put a very thin bed of mortar underneath during installation and have not experienced even the slightest feeling of "give"/bounciness. Both tubs creaked a little for the first month or so but not after they really settled.Pros: Lightweight but very solid feeling. The box is a little over 80 lbs. and I carried upstairs myself. We've had no trouble with staining despite other reviews. (It will scratch/mark though if you rub something metal or abrasive against it - like a titanium wedding band when you are giving your toddlers a bath - we've elected to not give the dogs baths in it for fear of scratching the bottom.) Pretty easy to install. We've used fiberglass tubs before and as I mentioned, the skirts were flimsy and separated from the sealant along the bottom/front pretty quickly because they flex at the slightest pressure. This tub feels like cast iron once installed, and we have not had any issues with "flexing."Cons: The way it's listed on Amazon, it's VERY hard to tell if it's a right hand drain or left hand drain. I ordered the wrong one first; the only way to tell (at the time of my order) is through the model numbering system (which also includes color code), so I had to cross check with the American Standard Web site and apparently got confused. Also for the DIYer, the flange in the corners seems to be thicker than in the center, so we had to increase the stud shim thickness to make sure the backer board was plumb with the corners but square all the way across the center to the other corner. Not the end of the world, but kind of a pain and not noted at all in the instructions. And just a note to other DIYers: we had a 60" opening - exactly 60"! And this tub is just over that - maybe an 1/8, maybe 3/16 (the way the back of the flange is made it's not totally consistent), so we had to shave some wiggle room from the studs on the interior drain side - although this kept us from having to shim that end.Overall, I would recommend this tub and use it again. No bells and whistles, but a very good basic tub.

Extremely Satisfied
I don't remember if I ever posted a review after the tub was installed, but here goes. In reading most recent reviews being not so good, I can only offer the following question to American Standard. Has the manufacturing process of this tub changed since 2014? This is when I purchased our tub and it has more than stood the test of time. I have personally/accidentally dropped cans of shave cream and the tub did not chip. It continues to look brand new. Out plumber made certain the tub would rest on a bed of mortar/cement that he installed. There is no bowing. The tub lays flat and stays flat. I love this tub.

Installed by my Plumber
It is so pretty. My plumber said it was easy to install. I now have to finish out the walls around it. Will update when finished and submit a photo
