The detail is incredible, they’re extremely detailed and colored well. They packed them very well so there was no damage done to them. The size is perfect so they aren’t life-size but big enough to noticeable. They also have felt feet on the bottom so they do hold their place pretty well and don’t slip around. I haven’t had any issues with them not holding up books, they’ve got enough weight and traction that they can do the job. I’m really pleased, I look at them and admire them at least once a day, they’re just what I wanted. I wish I had gotten these things years ago, they’re definitely different!

These are perfect for any library of the macabre. Honestly, I think they look even better in person than they do in the photographs. They arrived well-packaged and in great condition and they're now doing a great job of holding up some of my books.The one thing you might want to be aware of is that, while they're well made and quite sturdy, they're not particularly heavy. If you're worried about heavy books toppling over, you might want to supplement these with either some extra weight or anchor them to a strip of metal extending under the books. On the other hand, if you're just using them to hold two or three average-sized volumes, you'll have no trouble at all.On the whole, I couldn't be happier with this purchase. They're a welcome addition to my library.

I bought this for my halloween room. I am a little skeptic that it will hold books that well. The bookends are smaller than I anticipated and not as heavy as I had hoped. But for pure halloween decor, I would recommend them. They are definitely cute and a must for goth decor or if you love Poe

I purchased this for my son for Christmas. He is into ravens and skulls. He really liked it and is already in use on his bookshelf.

I bought these as a Christmas present for my niece and she and I couldn't have been happier with them. They're gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous! And super well made too. They're also nice and heavy so the books aren't gonna slide to the side on you. No joke just gorgeous.
