Introverts in Love: The Quiet Way to Happily Ever After [Dembling, Sophia] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Introverts in Love: The Quiet Way to Happily Ever After Review: Introverts in Love by Sophia Dembling - Introverts in Love by Sophia Dembling, is a compact well written handbook for introverts and those who love us. Inside are pages of stories and lessons learned from what must have been years of research and interviews on almost every aspect of relationships, from where and how to meet, to what to do when communication breaks down and lines are drawn. In this book I was able to read things I have never been able to put to my own words. I was able to identify and give voice to times in my life where situations arose that ended in frustration. With the stories of others having the same issues and how they resolved them, I now I find it easier to avoid and deal with such situations as over stimulation and meltdown. For the non-introvert, the book shows how situations can trigger our defenses and what to do about them when it happens. It also talks about and explains by example of our need for quiet and solitude and how this should not be seen as pulling away from those we care about. Overall, it is a well thought out book with many excellent stories and explanations. I'd like to see a deeper more psychological followup but that's just my own curiousness. Review: ) - A great read for those interested on an introverted viewpoint in the area of love, romance, and companionship; with methods and suggestions to better A relationship. The book displays individual claims of successful and failed relationships on mainly introverted folk with A touch of introvert/extroverted mechanics. This book offers A look into the author's accumulated wisdom from her own experiences and those she has gathered by the community of online introverts. An interesting read for those with A desire to learn about introversion and how it meshes with self love/dating/partnership/love/conflict/improvement. Recommend it. Sophia Dembling's style in her newest iteration on introversion brings to mind A conference which she herself is hosting, speaking to A captivated audience. This is because she regularly puts forth her own ideology in between individual accounts (as well as share her own experiences in dating and her marriage) to add to the story and shed light on how she believes the issue can be resolved and learned from. This book is A personnel work for the author and she is enthralled to share her thoughts with you and me, her audience. Hope this helped your decision making process. Cheers!

Introverts in Love
Lovely book. Helped me understand myself a little better while laughing along the way. I also love my dog. She’s a good girl.

Informative Read
I found the book informative and insightful. It gave examples of how and why introverts feel or act in certain situations. (I tend to be a little introverted myself, so could relate at times). It did help me to understand the world of introverts, their actions and to maybe not take things too personal. Met a friend online, who doesn’t want to chat on the phone, now I understand why (it’s not just me). I found other examples I could relate to as well. I’m not in a relationship, so all the examples of the married couples were a bit too much (so I just skimmed over those parts). Although, I could see them as helpful to couples. I would recommend this book to others. I read with Kindle-Unlimited.

Outstanding, funny and insightful
I have to say this book is excellent. I am an outgoing guy, but I have introvert tendencies in terms of needing significant time to “regroup” and collect my thoughts. I underlined the crap out of this book as I saw so many facets of my own personality within the pages. Which feels really good - to realize it’s not just a “me” thing. The author writes in a casual, likable way that is endearing and enjoyable. This is one of the best relationship/self awareness books I’ve read. And I’m picky. Very picky.

Very helpful
This is actually the first book I've ever read about introverts and it shed a lot of light on some of the things I experience in my own life. I'm moderately introverted so while much of the book was helpful, some of the traits or issues she describes didn't fit me. Even with that, though, this book has been very helpful for me in understanding more about interacting with extroverts, how to survive and even thrive in social settings, and the pitfalls I need to watch out for in a romantic relationship. Highly recommended for all introverts!

Wish I had this book when I was a young man.
I bought this book for my 24 year old introvert son. I wish I had been able to read this when I was 16 or 18 or 25 years old. It would have helped me a lot. It is a very practical book that does not give all the answers but does raise great questions that introverts need to think about when looking for a life partner. There is great advice based on interviews with introverts that have had both successful and not so successful relationships. I definitely recommend it to introverts that are trying to understand themselves in the world of relationships and romance. It is an easy read but a worthwhile read.

This book is okay in its overall description of introverts in love. It's a good start. A far more complex, detailed and and clarifying book is: Intimacy and Type by Jane Hardy Jones and Ruth Sherman.

I bought the book for my partner to read so he can get some insights. Which it does provide, however no scientific research was done by the author so the analysis and conclusions are a bit tentative.
