This item is billed as a Valentine's day gift, but works for other occasions, too. Took a chance on a birthday gift, and we were very pleased (especially her, hehe). Very nicely done, this is not junk, don't let the price fool you. I got three and she put them in a vase, like an arrangement -- nice. Cute/pretty stuff the gals like, even the "picky" ones :)I think there is some contention about the quantity of gold in these. Please know that gold is very expensive, so... I think these would cost a lot more if they were solid gold, and then I wouldn't be buying them. That said, I'm convinced there is some high grade gold involved in the manufacturing process -- whether a leaf coating or what have you. I didn't have them analysed by a jeweler -- but there is a lot of luster that you'd expect with real gold -- no signs of tarnish. Bottom line: I'm pleased with the purchase and believe I got what I paid for.

I bought these as gifts for few of my girlfriends - friends and relatives included. These are really good. 2 reasons I have them 4 stars: 1. They are VERY delicate. It can be pretty, but makes them difficult to handle. 2. The box should come with a plastic cover, so that it can be displayed within its box without getting any dust inside, and box can be a Sikh cleaned from outside.

This product is fine if your expectations are set appropriately. This is pretty but not on par with Waterford, Marquis or even Lenox. I will use it as an ornament on a gift wrapping - I think it will be very nice. The presentation in the box is a bit below my standards. I hate to be negative as I know the seller is trying to deliver a good product at an affordable price point. Based on my personal budget, I should have spent more to get something that is in the category of "exquisite." Or I should have spent less for a gift wrap ornament. Others obviously feel differently.

This gold foil rose is an excellent product for the price. The rose looks great, the box itself makes a perfect gift, and the certificate of authenticity is impressive. Several reviewers complained that the product is cheap and flimsy. There is a degree of truth in their comments. I have bought the "real" thing several times in the past: a freeze-dried rose dipped in 24KT gold. However, the price is at least $100. If you want to pay over $100, then go ahead. If you want essentially the same product and pay far less, than buy this product, don't complain, and spend the money you've saved on something else (or give your loved one a dozen of these roses).

I got mine as a Christmas gift a few years back. Some say it's not real gold. Mine has never tarnished! I live in Florida where the humidity is real!!!! Is it delicate, like others complain about? Yes but what were you planning on doing w a it? Putting it on a shelf or letting a small toddler run around w it. Mine is just as beautiful as the day I got it. It was such a touching gift to receive. It's very beautiful!

Every year, I try to get my wife a Valentine's Day gift that's different from the standard card-flowers-candy (though she gets those too). This year, I bought her this gold foil rose. I made sure to open the box and check the quality before I gave it to her and I was not disappointed. The rose looked exactly as pictured, nicely detailed. I don't know if it's really hand-crafted, but I don't consider that important as long as it looks like a quality item. When my wife opened the box on Valentine's Day, she loved it and immediately turned the house upside-down looking for a small bud vase to keep it in. I'm totally satisfied with this purchase. My only regret is that I'll have to think of an even more unique gift for next year!

I always get my wife flowers for Valentine's Day but this year i wanted something that would last longer than just a few days. I was looking around for something special did not want to give her candy, Jewlery did not strike me as to what i was looking for either, I knew i needed something different, that was when i ran across this Gold Foil Rose. I knew it was the perfect thing. I wasted no time in ordering it as it was getting close to Valentine's day already. Once my order was placed it took no time to get a message saying it was being fullfilled. I was hoping it would arrive in time. Well they did an excellent job and it arrived early, When i opened it up and looked at it i knew then she would love it. It was exactly as pictured and described and came with a COA too.Valentine's Day arrived and i waited to give it to her just when she thought i had forgotten i produced the box. She looked at me odd but opened it, Her mouth hit the floor. She started to cry claiming it was the best thing i could of given her. I am so glad i found it and i was glad to find it from KDLINKS. This gold rose was the perfect gift for the wife! She couldn't be more happy :) the padded box it comes in is very nice and when you open it it's even more beautiful. Very well made and much higher quality than expected and very fast shipping + customer service. Will definitely be purchasing more as they are the perfect gift!

came fast, and better than i expected. its wrapped in a perfect little box and everything looks great! id recomend anyone to buy this. ill be giving it to my girlfriend on valentines day and im sure she will love it too considering gold is her favorite colour....typical ;)
