im in love with this dragon statue!!! i bought it to treat myself and it is absolutely stunning. the dragon itself is a sturdy polyresin and is such a great size!! the gem on its armor is just plastic and the hanging crystal is too, but they dont really take away from the overall grand majesty of the statue. the lights are amazing too!!! so pretty and they cast beautiful colors on the dragon and on my ceiling! very VERY pleased with this purchase. (btw i surrounded the statue in fake gold and jewelry -- that stuff doesnt come with it!)

What a great find! I think it's amazing, for $17. The paint is well done, finely detailed. The hanging glass piece adds a nice touch. I did replace the heavy gage fishing line with some 2lb tension ultra clear fishing line and i think that made it look a lot better. It's surprisingly bright, and changes colors continually. It takes two AA batteries. Buy it! You won't regret it. : )

I love dragon statues, and I like to buy new ones from time to time. I suppose I have a half dozen or so now, and this is my first lady dragon. She's beautiful. The level of detail is pretty good for the price (it's not super detailed if you're looking up real close to it, but it's not cheap) and she looks great sitting in my room. She's a statue, there's not a whole lot I can say that you can't see in the picture.I do need to speak on the 'gimmick' though. So what you see there is a plastic crystal (I don't think it's an actual prism or anything) dangling by a thin plastic string. Underneath it are red, green, and blue LED's. Batteries reside in the bottom of the unit, and when turned on, the LED's light up. Each one fades in and out periodically to create different colors but it usually just looks like shades of purple. The colors reflect off the plastic crystal and into the surrounding area. It's a neat idea, but it doesn't work for me for a number of reasons: - The LED's are too noticeable. Red, green, and blue bulbs are protruding up from the base. They're big. They're ugly (really, they clash with the look SO much). It's the worst when you're standing above it and looking down at these giant bulbs in the middle, but it's still bad when looking at it across the room because you can see the red and green ones sticking up when they're lit up. - The string seems really cheap. I think it's trying to create the effect that the crystal floating in the air, but it just dangles.. slightly crooked, usually shaking back and forth ever so slightly. And when you get up close to it and see that string there, it just ruins the effect completely.In all honesty, I'd probably pay twice as much for a version of this that didn't have the gimmick. As it stands, I'll probably pop the batteries out and I might cut the crystal off. The LEDs in the base are not too noticeable or distracting so long as they're turned off... and she's really a beautiful girl.

Absolutely gorgeous!!! I bought this as a gift and it was extremely well received, not to mention delivered in 2 days. The leds are visible at the base, if it matters to anyone, but are bright and colourful. There was a problem with the crystal, however. The fishing line used to suspend it was so short that it touched the jaw. I simply cut it and replaced the line, though. While the crystal is a very nice plastic and refracts the leds perfectly, I changed it out for a real crystal when I changed the line to match my friends interests. I'll most likely be buying another one, as now I'm extremely jealous of my friend!

i gave it to my dad as a gift and he loved it. it has a little light under where the crystal hangs and when you turn it on it casts a little rainbow light on the ceiling. it’s very good quality for the price

Stunning with the LED, love it. The only issue is that the charm came imbedded in the jaw and not the paw of the dragon so it looks different, but still love it. Working nightlight 4 months on, no problems! Great product
