The details with this powder is A1 I love ❤️ it
I love this powder I made a few figurines with this product and they came nice I mean there was a few air bubbles but I’m still learning this product but it’s very so I will get it with some practice! It’s well worth the money. Still trying to see what I can color with it. Will be trying paint and powders to see if that works

Very good!
We are impressed that this is tough enough not to break/crack or crumble at all when you’re trying to get it out of the plastic (for retainer). It’s as hard as concrete once it dries. Makes really good impressions with very few air bubbles once you vibrate it to get them out. Also, if there’s any small bubbles it’s no problem to fill them after the fact. It’s difficult but not impossible to remove material if you need to (since it’s so hard), mostly because scraping it gives me the heebie jeebies (chills, like nails on a chalkboard). But that’s just me.

Ease of use
Easy to use. Setup nice and the mold was very detailed.

Good experience, but had to allow a longer time to harden
Product works really well and I had a great experience overall with this brand. The only issue I came across while using this casting material was that I had to allow a little extra time for the material to harden. The instructions said to allow 30-45 mins to hardening, but I found myself having to wait around 60+ mins. I attempted two casts and the first one that after 42 minutes wasn't fully dried and was mishandled because of this. I made a second cast and allowed 64 mins to dry and the results were great after the second try. I'm not too sure what caused the first cast to not fully dry in time, but nonetheless, the finishing product was smooth and very accurate of what I casted. I would highly recommend this casting material, just allow extra time to dry.

First time using any plaster material
I have never used any plaster material or molds. I mixed this up per instructions on the bag poured it into my mold (a stone mold for painting mandalas) and I was a little too short so I quickly mixed up a little more and poured it in. I was a bit skeptical that it would turn out at all but, to my surprise it turned out perfect! No air bubbles, very smooth and was ready in about an hour. I would definitely recommend this product.

This is a good very good product
This is a good very good product. It was my first time using any type of casting material. It worked the way I was hoping. I used it a little bit differently than most people, though. I didn't pour it in a mold. I brushed it on styrofoam. I made it thicker as a paste so that I could shape it as it was drying and use it as a filler in spots. I then brushed over it again and it dried nicely. I was going to make a mold with silicone and then pour the casting material, but I wasn't able to make a mold because the 'master models' - (ornate decorative cast iron ornaments) were 20 feet up in the air and I didn't have time to apply a bunch of coats and let them dry in between for the mold to set. I was able to measure the broken areas and along with taking a bunch of pictures, I was able to get an approximate scale to shape the styrofoam. My husband is a mason contractor so he will be the one securely fixing them into place and then painting them. As far as the PerfectCast product, it worked great to coat the foam and I was pleased with the quick drying time....

Too many bubbles
Ive been using Plaster Cast, gave this a try. More water is needed in your ratio 3:1. But the bubbles, way to many bubbles, even let it sit a minute or two before pouring into my mold. Tapping and tapping, more tapping once in the mold. Now maybe if I had the vibrator thing, that might have helped... After I demolded, so many bubble holes I had to fill. Its not worth the extra time involved. Glad I only purchased the 2lbs. I will go back using the other, which still left a few bubble holes, but a better use of my time and money.

Easy to use
This stuff is great. It was very easy to mix up in small batches as I was not sure how much I would need for the molds I wanted to fill. The surface finish was also very smooth. Durability? Well, I'm not going to do a "drop test" on purpose, but far it all came out of the molds with ease (I did use a mold release.) This amount filled about 6 smallish molds (3 tea candle holders & a small jar with a lid.)
