I was looking for a rose extract to infuse flavor for Swiss merengue buttercream that I used as a filling for some rose flavored macarons. I had read a TON of reviews for so many different rose extracts being sold on Amazon. And I am so glad that I ended up ordering this one!! The prices vary widely on rose extracts and I feel that this one was a good value. Not too cheap but not too expensive. But the best thing about it is the beautiful flavor and aroma that it has. I’m glad I paid attention to a lot of the reviews that mention being careful not to add too much. I’m surprised that several reviews mention that they didn’t receive a dropper. Mine came nicely boxed in a glass bottle as well as a little glass dropper and a sprayer attachment! Those who mention using the dropper instead of pouring it into measuring spoons are correct. You’ve got better control and are less likely to add too much if you use the little dropper. I started out counting 10 drops then tasting, then adding in 10 more. I’d say 10 drops is probably around 1/8 of a teaspoon. I ended up using 50 drops. So roughly 3/4 tsp to a batch of Swiss merengue buttercream. I had also added some vanilla to it and I felt that it complimented the rose extract beautifully. Rose extract isn’t commonly used in American sweets, and the subtle flavor and aroma are a nice surprise! I think with this flavor it’s important not to use too much. So start with a very small amount and gradually add more if needed. Taking one bite leaves you with the flavor in your mouth of how a rose smells, in the nicest way, if that makes sense! After being so pleased with the rose extract, now I want to order the lavender extract too! I highly recommend this extract for the flavor, the quality, the value and that cute little glass dropper it comes with! It tastes exactly how I was hoping it would!! I highly recommend it!

I used this in some lemon lavender muffins and also in some chocolate candy I was making. Not over powering, more like a lovely hint of lavender. Next I’ll add a bit more since baking can reduce some of the flavor a bit- but I really like it!

It's ok but I wish it had a dropper attached I always accidentally pour to much. The flavor is very strong to which I don't like do I will probably order a lavender syrup instead for my drinks.

Perfect lavender flavor for homemade lattes. We’re very conscious about what we consume so being able to spruce up my honey lattes with a couple of drops is a fantastic way to add some extra flavor. I bought the dropper top from a local store because a tiny bit packs a punch, every time I would try to pour a little out, it would run down the sides of the bottle. I’ve already had this for a few months and have only used a few drops so I anticipate this little bottle lasting me a while.

Very pleased with my purchase. It took slighlly longer to receive than the usual Prime but I was totally ok with that. The item was well packaged - the bottle comes with a security plastic wrap on the cap. It is a generously sized bottle with dropper. The description indicates intense rose flavoring which is validated by the "intense" rose fragrance that greeted me upon opening the package. I was happy to see an expiration date of 2027 allowing me ample time to use the extract.

Fast shipping but product was more perfumey than what I was looking for so probably will have to use it for soaps or candles instead of my baked goods.

Purchased and sent a message that dropper was not included..Did not receive the dropper or reply..Product is great..
