Perfect, no more AA batteries or cables
No more AA batteries for controllers, no more plugging in a charging cable that kids yank while playing, loosening the charging port on the Wii U itself. Red LED when charging, blue when charged, and works fast.

Works as intended.
Will it charge WiiMote controller? Yes, it has two docks for them. But you might have to take the nunchuck off first.Will it charge the WiiU portable gamepad with the screen in it? Yes.Will it charge the wireless WiiU controller (the one without the screen in the middle) or Gamecube controller or other gamepad device? No, you'll have to charge those by plugging them into the system or their own separate chargers via USB cable.

works but bright, fixable with a screwdriver.
It works, but the LEDs are very bright, especially the blue "charged" indicator.You can open it up (4 screws under the pads on the bottom) and essentially break off the blue LEDs. A small screwdriver or tweezers can push them off the solder pads, meaning you can leave it plugged in without the very bright blue lights on all the time.
