BLACK+DECKER IR1350S Professional Steam Iron with Stainless Steel Soleplate and Extra-Long Cord, Purple

This iron is magnificent and boasts great quality! I had no problem using the steam setting with a low temperature for delicate fabrics as I have with other name brand irons in years past. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver; I plugged it in and begin using it immediately even though the instructions call for steps to go through prior to the first use. It is great that this iron utilizes regular tap water as well. I can’t wait to use the built-in cleaning feature to keep it pristine and shiny.

Had this iron a little over 2yrs. Very good, no leaks. Still gets hot quick and everything works as it should.

This is a great iron which is light weight and presses your clothes easily.

Tried an open boxed version but iron never got hot, spray and steam burst buttons did nothing. So iron was returned. Tried a second from Walmart (new). It works but I'm not that fond of the light indicator as it turns on when plugged in but doesn't indicate when it's reached temp, instead just blinks when iron goes into standby mode and returns solid when moved again (don't forget to wait again so it heats back up) but this iron could really use a green light because this iron takes up to 5 minutes to heat up. Also thought my spray/steam buttons weren't working but they do, I must have hit it 90 times to prime the sprayer before it worked and the burst won't work until the iron is fully heated. Does iron really well once heated up. If no steam at first, open water fill door to vent air and check that the little pin hole in the cover is clear before closing. I'm keeping it cause it's stainless, lightweight, and the burst of steam is really powerful, but I really do wish it had a better light indicator. For those complaining of no cord storage or the extra large heel rest the cord wraps right around that heel rest for storage and has a little notch to lock the cord in! Also the number settings on the wheel correspond to a fabric chart on the heel rest.

Really happy with this iron! It has some weight to it which helps to press out those wrinkles; as well, as great steam.

I brought this item on the 19th and received it on the 20th and immediately used it to get dressed, however I quickly learned that the spray and steam buttons did not work. I gave it a 3 star because the iron itself works nicely with powerful steam coming out while using it. I didn't have to go over the area more than once and it was Jeans and Flannel shirt.I registered the item on Black and Decker and sent a complaint in which they told me to come back to Amazon for refund or exchange.

This is a replacement iron for my expensive Rowenta. So far and I just got it, I love that the cord is longer, it heated up incredibly fast, and it got hot. I like the size and weight. It seems to be lighter and less bulky. I do not put water in my irons so I will not be able to report on that, but I am grateful to have a reasonably priced iron And I hope this one will last.
