Sweep Picking Speed Strategies for 7-String Guitar: Discover Seven-String Guitar Arpeggios, Techniques and Licks (Learn Rock Guitar Technique)

I now own three of Chris's books and I will probably buy the others in the near future. They're easy to use, contain great examples, and have improved my playing. Exactly what I was looking for. This book does use many of the same examples as his other sweep picking book, which could be a pro or con depending on what you're looking for.

This looks like an interesting and potentially useful book, but I consider it a major flaw that it doesn't cover any of the many other tunings that 7-string players also utilize. Especially neglected are those variants which put a lower version of the standard 6-string tuning on the bottom 6-strings and add a top string that is a fourth higher than the top standard tning string; eg. The frequently utilized C, F, B flat, E flat, G, C, F tuning. or, D, G, C, F, A, D, G etc. There are also adaptations of DADGAD and drop-D for 7-string that are often used.

Yet another fantastic book from Chris Brooks! Very pleased! Does what it says on the tin!⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I bought 3 books here listed on Amazon for how to play a 7 string guitar. This is the only one that has produced results. I found it very helpful and had good exercises to get a good feel for this instrument. Be careful if you buy 7 string books here because the other two books here are just chord books and are not overly helpful for learning the 7 string well.
