Comfortable, Secure Chin Strap That Finally Solved My CPAP Issues
I can’t say enough good things about this chin strap. I was recently put on a CPAP machine and discovered that I breathe through my mouth, which caused significant discomfort and made therapy very difficult. I felt like my body was filling with air, and multiple mask styles did not solve the issue. No one initially suggested a chin strap. I tried another one on my own, but it did not work for me. I must have a funny-shaped head because it kept sliding off, similar to how headbands never stay in place for me. This chin strap has two top straps, and that design made all the difference. It stays securely in place all night. It is thin, comfortable, and fits easily under my CPAP mask without causing pressure or interference. Thanks to this chin strap, I’ve had seven consecutive nights of full rest while successfully using my CPAP machine. That is a huge win for me, especially since surgery was being discussed if CPAP therapy failed. This product truly made a difference.

Comfortable & works well for my needs
My CPAP was the greatest thing that happened to me when I received it approximately 7 years ago. However, I recently lost 130 lbs and the size of my neck reduced significantly. I think that's what used to help keep my jaw pushed up while I slept. Now that my huge neck is (thankfully) gone, my jaw/mouth has been falling open while I sleep, and my CPAP has not been working correctly. I have a nose pillow mask and I have been waking up several times each night with a mouth like the Sahara desert because the air was just pushing into my nose and out through my mouth, rendering the CPAP ineffective. I started feeling a lot more tired during the day and was getting notifications on my CPAP that I had a bad mask seal. It was suggested that I get a chin strap to help keep my jaw closed while I slept. I have to say, a lot of the reviews for the majority of the chin straps I have seen on Amazon have not been great. I took a chance on this one and am pleasantly surprised. The material is very lightweight and comfortable. I like the Y-shaped head strap because it keeps it in place all night. In fact, I don't think I would have been happy with some of the other ones I have seen because I feel like they would probably slide around and not be secure, especially since I am a somewhat restless side sleeper. It is adjustable on the side with Velcro but none of that rubs against my face or causes irritation. I was really worried about it feeling restrictive, but I didn't have to make it very tight in order to get it to work. I have been using this chin strap for about a week now and it seems to have solved my problem. It keeps my mouth closed and I'm no longer waking up several times throughout the night. I'm FINALLY getting restful sleep once again.

Works fine - Some things to keep in mind
**3 Stars - Works, But Has Some Drawbacks** This Anti-Snoring Chin Strap does the job, but there are a few things to keep in mind for the best experience. Proper positioning is key—make sure to adjust it well to get a good seal around the jaw and lips. Sleeping position also plays a role, so some trial and error may be needed for optimal comfort and function. If you need to wear it tightly, be aware that it may leave strap marks on your face and head. Give yourself some time in the morning to massage those areas and let the marks fade. Also, be sure to wash it regularly—it absorbs perspiration while wearing, but it dries fairly quickly when hung properly. I’d also recommend washing it before first use, as the black material may run off a bit. Overall, it’s an okay option for CPAP users looking to maintain a good mouth seal and breathe comfortably at night, but be prepared for some minor inconveniences.

Crown yourself for a good nights sleep!
The ‘crown’ design of this device helps enormously in keeping it on one’s head comfortably. I have had some minor difficulties with the chin strap slipping up; waking to find this thing in my mouth! Seems that the chin strap could benefit from just a bit more engineering on this component to assure that the strap stays put. Strap does do the job, though, and I have become accustomed to it’s parculiarities.

Came apart after a week
This chin strap broke after about a week. The velcro tab is only glued, not sewn, to the strap it controls, and it came apart. I’m still able to use it by pulling the strap through anyway and using the remaining velcro piece to kind of “tape” it down, but if the chin strap is fully tightened - even from the opposite side that’s still intact - the tension will pop it free. Wearing it loose enough to avoid this isn’t nothing, as my CPAP app still reports low leakage and low events, but I wake up with a somewhat dry mouth. For this reason I almost gave it two stars - but even though it’s comfortable during wearing and it technically hasn’t totally failed, it’s forcing a fiddly task at bedtime and I know I can’t expect my hack to keep working indefinitely. So the product gets one star for a bad bottom line, because it’s forcing me to go looking for something else to buy after just one week.

Perfect for comfort and effectiveness
My Pulmonologist asked me to get a chin strap. Most straps and bulky and hot. I especially like the chin section which is thinner. It stays in place all night if I put my hair in a ponytail and thread my hair over the back strap. I use a non-invasive respirator when I sleep.

Too small, poor fit, impractical care
I was disappointed by this product. I am an average-size man with what I consider an average-size head. The strap as packaged did not fit my head – it was too short. I extended the strap length via the velcro tabs, but to get the right length, the velcro on either side barely attached to itself. I'm sure it would come off during the night. Even when properly adjusted, it didn't feel comfortable. I've been using CPAP and accessories long enough to know that you tend to get used to these things but for me it wasn't worth trying. I also felt the construction was very cheap. The care instructions say you have to hand wash it. That's a deal breaker right there.

Light weight and easy to use
This one so far works especially if you are looking for a less invasive option on your head. It is light weight and comfortable. Didn't ruin my hair either!
