Save a lot CYBER MONDAY is lit!!!
The media could not be loaded. Let me tell you the story about how I bought this item, so December 2 Monday morning got to wake up early at 5 am to get to work and I know it is Cyber Monday so, got to check amazon for cheap components because I have been planning to build my own system unit a long time ago. So, the right time at the right moment I am so amazingly shock to what I have seen last Cyber Monday deal 514 effing dollars for bundled of 3 on the item Ryzen 7 3800x, Samsung 500gb NVME M.2 ssd 970 evo plus and the last one my wishlist mobo which I'm eyeing for a long time the mpg x570 gaming pro carbon wifi, let me break it down for you how much I save for the three of them, so the price of processor on my invoice is 271.42 dollars tax already included, for the SSD it cost me 82.24 dollars tax also included, and the last one my first mobo the MPG x570 gaming PRO Carbon Wifi it cost me 197.38 so in total 550.24 for all of it with tax already included. Just search the real price now how much I had saved. For the specification of the MSI MPG x570 moboI like the bios it is very user interactive it is easy to understand.I also like how the headers, pins and etc, where place it is amazingly right on my case.I also like the EZ led debug I encountered a scenario which I place the Graphic Card on PCIE second slot and not intently but I had blocked the chipset frozer fan which causes it to not spin, but the mobo led debug turns red and that warns me in advance that there is something wrong with what I have done so I check and found the error I made and another scenario which is about the RAM slot I had put it to second DIMM slot, yeah it will turn on but optimization to RAM won't work properly because I did not put it on the first DIMM slot so I reinput it thanks to the EZ led debug nice one for that MSI.the second one I like is the built-in wifi and Bluetooth the range is pretty dang good honestly, but just a suggestion don't ever play while the bluetooth is on it will interupt your connection, It won't disconnect the wifi but you will feel a little lag.Ah what else let me think,You know what it is all good so buy it don't ever think of negative review it is good mark my words, this is my first time building so I can't really provide the much more technical review I'm still learning and still figuring it out. You can check MSI official website for some technical specifications.ConsThere is just one thing that annoys me about the position of 8 pin CPU power, I put a really hard effort just to insert the pin connector on top the motherboard and it is not wise for cabling management I don't really know if it's just me or It can be placed near the 24 pin connector just saying, all right but other than that everything is good.

I've always been a fan of MSI components. They've never let me down. I decided to upgrade to an i9-13900K with DDR5 because I do tons of media transcoding, and this looked like a good choice to put it all together with. I've been up and running stable for two weeks now with no issues except for one thing - the default power settings for the 13900K. The limits for both short and long term bursts were at 4096 watts. What?? If your AIO is hooked up to your air conditioner, then maybe. Throttle temp was still the standard 100C. While doing some transcoding, pretty much all of the 8 P-cores throttled out. I saw that this is pretty much standard across the board for all mobos with the 13900. So I set the wattage down to 200 and 140. That kept the temps well below 100, but I noticed that now all 24 cores are working together for my transcodes. When the wattage was set wide open, only the 8 P-cores seemed to be doing any work (and were the only cores throttling out), which is probably how it was intended. But I don't think there is any cooler that will be able to keep that below the TJ Max. So I'll just use all 24 cores for my work and keep things cool. Works just fine for now.The board comes with XMP1 thru 3 and I'm running Corsair DDR5 at 6000 MTS with zero issues right out of the gate. Runs a little hotter than I'm used to with DDR4, but no issues with that. 5 M2 slots for your NVME drives that all come with shields. One of the M2 slots will take lanes from your PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, so be wary of that. Superspeed USB ports on the I/O as well as a 2.5G ethernet port. I don't do RGB, but there seems to be plenty of RGB customization options if that's your thing. And of course the Z790 chipset for all your tweaks.Overall a very powerful board with a lot of capabilities and expansion options. Put the power to use with an RTX3090 or 4090 and you'll have a future-proof rig for quite some time.

Very good motherboard. Didn't need any drivers it worked perfectly!
MSI makes great parts. This motherboard has many fan connectors and also connectors for liquid cooling units and such. Has the spots on motherboard to plug in fans that light up and also my MSI liquid unit I used, fit perfectly with the mainboard. It has generation 4 m.2 Nvme drives. Spots for 2 nvme drives. This is one of the best AM4 motherboards your going to find and MSI has the x570 Carbon priced very well for the value. The board also has digital real time temperature display on the board itself which is neat. I like to be able to turn my head and see the temp of my CPU. If your building a computer, I highly recommend this board. Also... I was able to use my old hard drive in my new build. My old Nvme drive with windows 11 works perfect!!! I didn't even have to re format or anything. This is the best motherboard I've ever had the pleasure of installing!!! EASY TO OVERCLOCK. Took my memory from 2667 to 3200mhz to reach coupled mode with AMD CPU infinity fabric is apparently set at 3200 mhz with the Ryzen 5000 series which is freakin fast as hell. You can tweak pretty much everything in the BIOS. Damn this is a good motherboard. I ended up running my memory at 3600 mhz. 4000 mhz was stable for a while but with the Gskill Trident memory I purchased it's easy to under or overclock. I recommend 3600 mhz with 5000 series CPU's.
