This is the cutest battery operated 9 inch candle with a real looking amber flame ever!! I love the features on it. One, its battery operated. No worry about a fire. Two, you can pick the flame you want. Either a flame that stays on or a flickering one. Three, it has a censer that lets you keep the candle on all the time. It comes on at dusk, and turns off at dawn. One battery will last 40 days. I bought this for a friend who is 100 years old, and she just lost her sister in her 90's. She put this candle in her sisters bedroom window at Christmas to remember her. I love the decorative holder with the handle. Really nice! Great price, well made and shipped out super fast! Hi ... I was so happy with the first Xodus led candle that I bought another one ... It is made very well and looks great ... The light sensor is a blessing in that I don't hafta remember to turn it on and off ... It sits in the window during the Holiday season and it can be set in either flicker mode or steady flame (the two AA batteries lasted the whole season and are still going strong - 5 weeks) ... Great price too! ... It arrived way before I expected it ... The folks at Xodus Innovations actually followed up to see how I liked the product and if there was anything they could do to help me with any questions ... Perfect as advertised...elegant and fits on window ledge beautifully.

These were perfect at Christmastime in every window. They all lasted and lit up from dusk to dawn. I ordered over 20, and they all worked. I wish the plastic wasn't so cheep looking, but for the price and from a distance, they worked for our needs.

Nice looking plastic light. The sensor doesn't work. It stays on 24/7 in my hallway. Even when I have the lights on. I also tested it in my walk-in closet. No change. So I guess I get to test the battery/bulb lifespan. I'm not going to replace it unless the battery life is horrible... I guess you get what you pay for...

Review update: after using these for two Christmas seasons, I’m a fan! On the solid flame setting, the batteries last about 1 month. On the flicker flame setting, they last about 2. Just be careful to remove the batteries after use (like any device). I got lazy one year and left them in, a couple leaked battery acid and rendered one candle no longer working. Totally my fault, and these are fairly inexpensive to replace. Overall I’ve been very satisfied with them!Original review: I've been using these for about a week now and so far they're great. Living in the Midwest and using these in December, they stay on an average of about 14 hours (longer if cloudy) per day. I'm curious to see how long the batteries last. The lights are definitely a warm yellow/orange color, but I prefer that over white. They add a homey yet elegant touch to my Christmas decor in our colonial home! I kind of want to order enough for ALL the windows in our house instead of just the front ones. Maybe next year!

I was so excited to receive the light for my kitchen window. This thing worked for about 2 days, then it turned on & off at will. I am so disappointed! It's very pretty, but non functional. I wish I could give this product ZERO stars.

I don't mean that as a dig... I only expected to use them in Dec (and have left them in the window as decoration 'till next Dec.)While I have only used them once so far, they worked all month of Dec, thanks to the photocell.Fingers crossed that they will work just as well come next Dec.I love the photocell functionality so they turn off when it's light... saving juice in the batteries.They are plastic and look like it up close, however being in a window at night, it's a soft flickering candle.

I bought 2 of these candles since the covid . I put both up in my windows .I am on top floor of a high rise apartment . They are seen clearly outside. It has two set modes. I use flickering burning set . Takes 2 batteries. Turns on every night by itself, and off during the day by itself. I am very pleased. It can be for Christmas or for any reason or decoration . Beautiful detail. Works great. Haven’t had to replace batteries yet. Very well made .

Cute, easy to use, and works as advertised. I use these in my windows at Christmas, placing them in between the double panes where it is quite chilly and they last during cold Ontario winter.Provides a warm glow when arriving home in the dark and would be suitable anywhere as a nightlight. I've even taken one when traveling for a hotel bathroom nightlight.

I bought 4 of these for Christmas.They do accept rechargeable but it is hard to fit them in because rechargeable batteries are bigger than alkaline batteries.I had to put them upside down to star them but once started they work good.They have been working 24 hours and i tried to turn them of this morning and they came on no problem

I decided to purchase this for the living room window for the holidays. It is welcoming and I liked it....so did my daughter. I gave her one for her house. Now, I think I will try to find one that is taller for the next holiday season...... S.
