Great quality, will last
Good quality transom wheels, hinge system is made so you don't have to take pins in and out to adjust the position, its on a spring loaded peg

Expensive but top quality
I spent ages researching different transom wheels was worried about drilling into a brand new transomAfter many hours I decided on theseThey are expensive but it's worth it there heavy duty makes moving the boat and 25hp outboard engine very easy

Poor design and Poor Customer Service from Seamax
Yes, the wheels are strong but with terrible design as the pin that locks the wheels will be in the water while sailing and the wheels are up. this pin is loose for both ends and with boat speed, this pin will fall in the water then your wheels will not stay up and dip in the water. Seamax say there is two years warranty so I sent them a warranty claim to replace the pin but they replied that because the item hasn't been purchased directly from them then they are not responsible for the warranty! I tried to explain to them that amazon is only a retailer and they bought it from them and the item has been shipped to me from seamax but still no resolution. Amazon tried to help and suggested returning the item for a full refund but again that means I will have to destroy the boat transom to take the wheels off.

Extremely high quality
I have medium bank waterfront and wanted a solution for launching a small boat. After extensive research I settled on these Seamax legs and they are perfect!!I found the legs before I had my boat built. Everything, including the new & lighter Yamaha F25C and 2.5 kicker and 14.5' aluminum welded boat come in just under 600 lbs, the rating for the legs. I have an electric winch (Dutton-Lainson 24874) that provides powered pull and release. The legs are very solidly built and have a solid mounting plate. I gave them to the boat manufacturer and they installed them during fabrication with no problem. They don't take up too much space on the transom and when raised the boat retains about 90% of its turning radius with no real compromise at all. The legs raise easily once the boat is launched and I appreciate that the pin remains internal/on a spring and stays attached so it can't be lost. When going into a beach to explore we keep the wheels up, trim up the motor and pull the boat up the beach. When returning home I put the wheels down and pull up to the ramp. Our grade is steep enough that the bow reaches the beach about when the wheels touch bottom. I hook up the winch and pull her up. I've made a cradle so there is no force on the wheels when not in use.I had one mishap early on when winching and not realizing that a wheel had gotten stuck behind the bottom edge of the ramp (where it meets the beach) and one of the wheel arms bent and actually snapped. It was entirely my fault. I contacted the manufacturer who correctly pointed out it was good that the wheel arm broke rather than anywhere on the boat (such as the transom or tow eye). He graciously let me purchase a replacement arm at cost. I've since improved the bottom edge of the ramp so it now has a smooth transition to the beach. I've used the current setup many times without any further problems. Total time to launch or retrieve the boat is 20 min in my case. This really is a fantastic setup and the Seamax legs make it possible. Without them I would have had to go with a smaller/less seaworthy boat or some sort of more complicated cradle system which I am glad to have avoided. If you're considering a project like this I recommend this product without reservation. I believe they now offer the wheels in a larger diameter, which is probably better. Depending on the size of the rocks you encounter bigger wheels will help roll over bigger rocks.Happy & safe boating!

Brilliant
Great quality and do the job brilliantly on a 3.5m RIB with 30hp outboard.
User
Solid
These wheels worked perfectly on my dinghy! They come with everything you need for installation, minus marine grade sealant. I was initially hesitant because of the price but once I unboxed and saw the quality of the product I knew I made the right decision. They’re easy to adjust and well designed. These are second to none and I highly recommended if you’re looking for an easy solution to launch your dinghy!

Worth the extra money!
I purchased this item over the cheaper version for two reasons. The fist and to me the most important feature is that once you are in the water and the weels are up they can be at an angle away from the boat and out of the way or the motor leaving you more room for tight turns. The second reason is its rigid structure and high quality of its built not to mention it only requires six hole in the transom and to me thats worth it the less holes in the transome the better your off. My only concern at time of purchase where the weeks look to be cheap plastic on the pictures but uppon arrival I am glad to report that is not the case they are good ruber andthe air valves are actually at an angle facing outward making inflation a breze unlike my friends cheaper weels belice me its not fun trying to inflate the cheaper weels. I am confident these weels will last me a a lifetime just keeping them piled after each season after all even aluminum rust eventually but not if taken preventions. Conclusion, yes they are more money, yes shipping is alot BUT if you have a good boat you dont want cheap weels that weels that might ruin your perfect day before it even beggins worth every penny because you wont have to replace them.

Very high quality, ease of use
All parts arrived in box. Well machined metal. Easy to install leg into bracket. Simply insert lock pin through bracket hole and the leg hole and it is attached. Use the sliding/spring pin on leg to easily lift the leg between down and up positions (see groves in bracket). The two up and two down groves permit having the legs at different set angles. The tires appear to be robust, no issue with the rubber quality at unboxing.
