Direct replacement of a very dependable motor
I had this exact same model of Century 1 hp motor (HST 110) on my Hayward Super Pump for the past 9 years. It ran flawlessly through every annual S. Florida rainy season and morbidly hot summers fully exposed to the elements. When it did finally die, I was surprised that Century still makes this model. I guess they figure that 'you don't mess with it if it ain't broken'. So I am on my second Century HST110 and looking forward to ten years of service on this one!* Don't be cheap when replacing your motor. Order the gasket and impeller seal kit for your pump and refresh it for a longer service run.

High quality
I installed it and immediately noticed how quiet it is. Also 5 psi higher on pressure reading gauge.

Constantly leaks ruined the housing and pump as well
This product has done nothing but gives us problems, replaced housing, leak repairs and now we need to do a complete pump motor and housing replacement. so disappointed
