This was a huge improvement in our bathroom redo, and very inexpensive. The previous owners painted over the hinges and they were rusting through. These were super simple to install, lined up perfectly with the old hinge screws, they perform perfectly by closing and opening very smooth, they’re heavy duty and not thin, they don’t feel cheap. The finish is a beautiful brushed nickel which we wanted.

They fit perfectly in the existing hinge cuts. I read the reviews and found some negatives were a bit picky. They are matte black, as matte as you can get when anodized. They are not glossy or shiney and look great. Yes, only the screw head is black. The rest is screwed into the door anyway, so…. All the hinges swing smoothly and quietly and best price for the number of hinges I needed. I would recommend.

Sturdy, well made metal door hinges. Easy to install. Bought to replace old rusted hinges. Love the look of the black hinges on all the doors. Replaced the door knobs to black as well.

I bought these to replace some gold hinges. Quality is great, size is exact, and install was easy. I left the door up and replaced one hinge at a time and filled the holes with toothpicks before installing new. Easy peasy.

These look good and work exactly as expected - even includes matching screws. My only issue was that it is very difficelt to remove the pin.

Bought the large pack. Great value. Fit perfect house was built in 2002. Finish is sturdy to a rubber mallet. Comes with allThe screws. Pins are removable and are pre lubed too. Very happy thank you.

With as many people that have ordered this product you’re bound to get conflicting reviews. My experience, however, was flawless and found these hinges to be a great value buy!First, let me start by asking why is it impossible to find truly black hinges in local big box home stores?! We checked every one near us we could think of and they are all either coated aluminum (silver) or brushed bronze which is also know as BROWN! I have matte black fixtures of everything in my spare bathroom and do not want brown hinges to clash. Well, forget the local stores on this one and trust these. These are matte black hinges, no brown here.Second, some reviewers claim that their hinges came poorly packaged and damaged. Again, with enough products sent out you’re bound to have some issues. I, however, had no issues there. They came in a small box each one wrapped in a loose fitting plastic bag and each coming with the proper amount of screws. Zero quality issues whatsoever here.If you’re needing hinges that open flat then these will work for you. You can see in one of my pictures I have it open on top of the shipping box and it is truly 180º flat on the surface. We installed three hinges on my spare bathroom prehung door and they work perfectly. These don’t have any slow close or controlled close features to them, they just open and close. I will mention that the pins do come out but not without a fight! As I was removing hinges already on my prehung door I first tried to remove the pins from the hinges before installing them and I’m glad I went this route. I ended up having to put the hinges in my bench top vice upside down and hammering the bottom of the pin downward with a punch and a hammer! Like I said, not without a fight, but they did eventually bust loose. When I installed the hinges on the door to fit my door and frame to the rough opening I slid the pin back in the hinges only enough to allow the door to work properly so I can pull them back out easily when I take the door off to paint it.Other than the struggle to pop the pins out, these are exactly what I was looking for! Hope this was helpful in your decision making. They sure worked for me! Oh and one more thing, try pricing out 18 hinges at your local home improvement store and then come back here and buy these! LoL! These are such a better value!
