XFasten Transparent Window Weather Sealing Tape, 2-Inch x 30 Yards (50.8mm x 27.43m), Clear Window Draft Isolation Sealing Film Tape, No Residue

Works great sealing the window frame around an A/C or the exhaust tube going out through the window on a floor model A/C. My daughter and I bought a floor type A/C unit and the hot air needs to go out through a window or something. We just opened the window about 6” and the tube/bracket goes between the open window and the bottom of the window frame. We used this tape to seal everything around it so no bugs or air could enter her room. We removed it right before winter and the tape came off clean. The tape is strong but comes off cleanly even after it being on the window frame all Spring, Summer, and Fall.

I used the XFasten Transparent Window Weather Sealing Tape to seal the gaps around my AC unit, and it works great for the job. The tape sticks well to glass and plastic, and it’s really effective at blocking drafts. I like that it’s clear, so it doesn’t stand out, and it leaves no residue when removed, which is a big plus.The adhesive is strong, but that can make it tricky to reposition once applied. It also feels a bit bulky, so it might not be ideal for super narrow gaps. The roll is long enough for most jobs, but if you have a lot to seal, you might run out faster than expected.Overall, it’s a solid choice for weatherproofing and I’d recommend it if you want something that’s easy to apply and does the job without leaving a mess.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Amazing stuff. It's so durable, great for really stretching over and sealing awkward shapes. Sticks okay, not the stickiest, but with a clean surface does the job and lasts outdoors.Will buy again.

Been trying to find a good tape that wouldn’t wear from weather changes. Super easy to work with, great quality and amazing adhesion. Made a huge improvement on the heat resistance, and made a great seal.

This tape works really well when you first open it the adhesive does not seem that great but don't let it fool you it works fantastic I use it on my windows never an issue or leakage.

It doesn’t really stick well to the wall. I bought this to properly seal the edges of my window AC and not even 24hrs later it keeps lifting. I also made sure to properly clean and dry everything before applying the tape. If you want it to properly stick you’re going to have to add a lot of layers unfortunately.

It seems to work as expected. Only installed it recently, but optimistic it should hold up.
