I really like these pens. They give me a nice sharp, bold, black line. They're not super bold lines, just bold. Much better than the smaller tipped pens that write what looks like like a spider web line width.These pens write smoothly. Though you do have to store them with the point down or you have to shake them a bit when you write with them. I just put them in a pen holder with the point down. Problem solved, a cup or jar that can old pens works just as well. It's not a complicated time consuming thing to do. And at this price point who cares about storing them point down. I refuse to spend nearly a dollar apiece. or more. for something to write with. I'd rather save the money I would have spent on overpriced pens, to purchase something else.I don't like gel pens they soak through paper and make a mess, they also run out of ink much faster.

These pens are a good value for the price. They are made well, last long, and write fairly well. They are slightly more durable and heavy than the cheaper bic pens and are easier to hold.
