LOVE, L-O-V-E, this piece! Wish I could afford every single piece coming out of Haiti, made by these guys! Stunning! Yes, you better be careful with the edges, some may be a bit sharp, but hang it on a wall, sit and contemplate! Not cheap, but worth the money: each one is 100% made by hand and themes and motifs repeat, but no two are the same. Will end up buying more for sure!highly recommended!

Amazing artists

This is my second piece of Haitian steel drum art. I bought my first at a museum in New Mexico and have loved it for years. I saw this Turtles piece at a local nursery but the price was $88. I found it on Amazon for $69. I love it because of the story of the artist and that each baby turtles’ shell has a different design.

My wife and I love sea turtles. We have sea turtle art all over the place. This metal art work was an instant favorite. The craftsmanship is extraordinary and the fact it was hand made in Haiti from an old oil drum lid makes it all the more interesting to us. There seems to be a great amount of pride by the seller of this item. They are very personal in their transaction. It's a nice touch. I only hope the tha actual makers of these art objects are getting a fair shake in the supply chain.
